I don’t care if the club has absolutely no space. A GS should never be denied access. GS are No question United’s best customers (besides chairman’s circle of course). Open your clubs United.

Today at SFO they have Clam Chowder available at the bar. Also crudité with ranch in plastic boxes. Green salads in plastic boxes. Land O Lakes cheddar cheese sticks, mixed nuts in plastic bags - plus some of the classic chips, Sun Chips, Milanos, etc. While I am not through here as often I used to, it seems an attempt to freshen up the options is happening.

I will add that there was a very active liquor training session in progress when I arrived where a rep was helping team members learn about origins of wine, wine regions, and other information to improve their product knowledge. And the bartender is actively promoting the Clam Chowder to all guests - he even mentioned someone said that it was being offered at LAX and they quickly added it to the SFO Club.

We all like empty(ish) lounges but good to see some semblance of normality. Ever since the pandemic, I haven't seen the lax club with more than 20 people at a time so good to see this.

that really puts UA to shame.

pretty sure they are tone-deaf to everything that doesn't carry the sound of $$$. The clubs situation is an embarrassment. Was arriving into SNA today and heard people coming out of the AC saying "I really feel bad for the united folks, that place has been closed for quite some time...." and the person he was talking to laughingly replied "Their flights look fuller than ours too"
