Actually, that selection works pretty well for me. Surprisingly so.
I guess I don't have a very sophisticated beer taste, then.

No shame if that does it for you. I have some fond memories with pitchers of Yuengling, but as things are, it is a tap list would have me asking about the wine.

You and me both. Guinness, Stella, Yuengling, what more could I ask for. Though I try not to drink yuengling since they donated to Trump. Still, a solid beer selection, though maybe a Brooklyn Lager would be appropriate, given how they're trying to go local with each of these lounges.

They could add an IPA for sure. Demented IPA (which they have in their UCs at EWR) would more than suffice. I would be interested to see if they offer other crafts besides Ommegang in bottle or can.

Nice.
Visited on Monday and was pretty impressed. They've obviously done some good training with the staff but it is still a work in progress.
Upsides:
1. Lots of room. It's very spacious.
2. The isolated work desk/seat combo units are really well designed, with very comfortable seats, well-placed power outlets and lighting.
3. The giant jar of M&Ms.
4. The menu in the "Dining Room" is pretty interesting. I had the Moroccan Lamb and it was pretty good-it was slightly under-seasoned for my taste.
5. Lots of shower rooms.
6. The buffet had some very interesting small plates and entrees. It looks like they have a good imaginative chef in charge.
Downsides:
1. Very slow service and confusion with floor management and order flow in the "Dining Room".
2. Coke Zero not available.
3. Shower room thermostat set to a default 88 degrees. I thought that it might be a mistake, so I checked several other shower rooms and they all had the same default setting. This is way too hot.
4. The space is very relaxing overall and pretty quiet, but my calm was interrupted by several extremely loud cell calls. I think that they should have a designated cell area and ban them in the general area and the "Dining Room".

Polaris is meant to be a 'business' lounge and unfortunately, people conduct 'business' in these lounges. I don't see them banning the use of cell phones. At most, maybe a reminder to not use them in the "nap areas".

Sorry, I can't remember many of them (I couldn't sleep at all on my Tokyo flight and showed-up at the club as a virtual zombie), but one that stood out was a delicious fingerling potato salad with watercress and scallions, served in individual large ramekins, not from a bowl. There was also a Chicken Parm that seemed very popular-I didn't try that one though.

i'm pretty sure the answer is no, but this isn't open to PS operated flights right? I was just looking at my app for my flight tonight and the PS flights state United Polaris Business class in the amenities section
