what kind of ecert was it? was it originally a domestic only -200 ecert that now works on int'l flights? or was it an int'l valid % off ecert? cuz isn't that an int'l flight?

United Club Card

I received a United Club Card. It has my United eleven-digit number on it. I am used to the combo card, MM/UGS/Club. What's with this new card? Do I care?

PUA running yet?

Hi UA Insider, is there any update as to when Complimentary Premier Upgrades will begin processing? I am anxiously awaiting the GS window on a new config 777 with R/RN 9.

This is deeply disappointing. Can't you, even as one-offs via PM, restore our rightful seats and bounce the people who slipped in through no fault of our own? I actually booked these dates because 6A was open in these new-config 777's. All that's left now are rear-facing middle seats - this is not how I want to spend a 10 1/2 hour flight!

UAInsider hasn't noted the issue in post1 of this thread yet. Several of us have this issue, seems like enough of a critical mass that it will be addressed eventually.

Has the elite status listed on the current web site been updated to reflect 2012 elite status?

So no separate check-in area for Int'l C (and I'm guessing F) now?

When do you expect posting to resume and should these pre-conversion flights post normally?
FYI, under SHARES, 3 days is the new normal for getting CO (now UA) flights posted - consider yourself lucky if you get 2 days. And not uncommon for *A flights to take the full 15 days to post, if at all.

My MIL's miles for ORD-HKG posted approximately 5 hours after she landed last week - goodbye to those days.

Two weird things have happened:
1) I have a non reservation: "Flight: to Tak TH (TKT)" under reservations, and
2) I started 03/03 with 4 GPU and ended with 2 GPU (they show as debited on 02/25)
I wish they kept the functionality of the old system of listing all reserved and used instruments including flights, person etc.

Is this issue effecting upgrades

Hi,

I have cut and pasted the remarks from post 1. I have this issue with a flight departing later this week. One leg had cleared pre merger, the other is still wailisted. Its a P.S. flight using a sponsored RPU ( old CR1 ) Are these upgrades clearing even though the message appears. From the second remark from UA Insider it seems that they havent figured out what to do yet? Any thoughts as I did not want to call in as I assume they will not know what to do??
Thanks..

Upgraded tickets displaying, “A modification has been made . . .” message. Tickets upgraded with a Global Premier Upgrade, Regional Premier Upgrade or a Mileage Upgrade Award may initially display the message, “A modification has been made to your itinerary. Please contact United Reservations to have your ticket reissued.” We’ll be running a process to synchronize these reservations automatically over the course of the next day, but, this process has not yet begun. Your flights will remain upgraded, but, in the new system, we need to take an additional step to match your reservation with your ticket (e.g. put it back in synch). There will be no need to re-request these upgrades.

UPDATE as of 8:30a CT. We're still researching this one and have learned some more details. The systematic process to correct this issue may not work as planned. If you're traveling today or tomorrow, we recommend calling us to have your reservation updated. If you're traveling in the future we're still working on a resolution and will keep you posted.

CO (really the new UA) mngt has never given a RATS REAR-END about seat assignments.

I feel your pain. 3-4 times I had seats booked for vacations...and due to a simple a/c change...IE 738 -> 738 different tail #, seats would be jostled! It is [email protected] the old CO was HRRIBLE about getting seats back.

Good luck...and I truly feel for you. The "you paid for transporation, not a seat" is BS in my book.

Now that I think about it, I think INTL F (3 cabin) could also use the GS area. I'm still fuming about that. There was literally no one there with about 6-8 agents standing twiddling their thumbs and the dragon at the top of the line wouldn't let me in. I had BPs, just needed to drop bags for an INTL flight. The Premier bag drop area was closed.

Anyone aware of Issues with SWU elite status not being recognized on upgrade list?

Swu - Belongs to GS/pp
Within 24 hours you lose the status of the person who sponsored you. You're now behind any GS/1K etc that were using SWUs.

Missing GPU's

I had 2 GPU's prior to 3/3, now have zero. Also I had 10 regionals, now five.
How can I check the use of these upgrade instruments on the ne web site?

Mileage calculator is showing minimum mileage accrual at 250 (not 500) miles for status and only giving exact miles flown for RDMs. Is this a glitch or a change?
