LH S fares posting 50% PQM

For my recent LH flights that were coded as "S" fares, they are now posting 50% PQM. Also some domestic German legs are missing.

When will this settle down?

Also I seem to fluctuate between being a million miler and not every weekend. The difference is not few hundred miles, but in tens of thousands of miles. So every UA flight I take feels like the one that will take me to the millionth mile.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I've only flown UA & UX metal since 03/03. RDM, PQM, PQS have posted, however "My Lifetime Flight Miles" haven't changed! :td:

Yeah!! My miles are now basically reconciled!

1. Original NC flights that converted over as ON instead or R have been
adjusted and now show as R with earning miles.

2. All flights have now been corrected to the new mileage per GCM.

Only remaining issue is the 50% bonus earned on upgrades with R fare
class. Expect these to be voided on next run. Finally some progress!

Mine are getting closer, but only because I keep following up. On the plus side, I got through with no hold this morning (of course it is Easter morning ;) ) and after I explained why one of my flights needed to be recoded as R (she was unaware of the issue), the agent was able to make the change. Would have been interesting to see if the rumored 4/15 re-sweep automatically corrected it, but somehow I suspect there will only be more problems to fix on 4/16.

Points phasing in and out of our time space continuum

Worked the MP desk with 5 phone calls over the last 2 weeks chasing down missing points from a mid-march flight that didn't credit miles or eqps. Purchased early FEB 12 on UA metal V fare upgraded with CR1 to NF 2 class (outbound) and NC 3 class (return).

Outbound flight was converted 3 MAR 12 into ON (return was R). Return flight credited promptly (2 days), but outbound was missing.

Each agent was helpful, but powerless to do anything. All referred to a sweep, but had different days for the event (27 MAR, 1 APR, 15 APR).

My points/eqps showed up sometime between Friday and Saturday 6-7 Apr. Ok fine moving on then...

Checked my account this morning and they are gone.

This sweep is looking more like leaf blowing on a windy day

Sure sounds like there's more than just a little "tidying up" needed

I had an itinerary for EWR-PIT-DEN on 31 March, and EWR-PIT was delayed due to an equipment change so I would miss connection. Check in agent said "you're not going anywhere today" and wouldn't waitlist me for other possibilities. I made her check me in in existing itinerary and went to United Club, who waitlisted me on next flight to DEN, and protected me on a later flight.

I got the earlier flight, but on arrival in Denver, I noticed that the return portion of my itinerary had been cancelled. Another visit to the United Club got my return flight back.

Now, a week later, I noticed that mileage didn't post. A call rectified that, but now I see I did not receive EQMs. (well, I did receive them but according to MP website, my previous EQM mileage balance mysteriously is reduced by the same amount I earned on that segment, so net 0).

I can't wait to see how the return flight posts.

RDM for flights on 3/3 and 3/4 are fixed, but not the corresponding Lifetime miles.

PQM from my United Select Visa also reflect properly (though I'm confused how I received 172 base RDM and 171 PQM for a purchase, but not worth my time to figure out why).

I am having the problem with one of my flights in early July. Have been getting this since I made the reservation Wed or Thu. Still getting the error.

Calling did not help - the 1K agents basically say call back later, with no initiative to report to the Help Desk or anything.

It looks like it's something else then.

My lifetime miles just (within the past hour) jumped by 5k or so. No changes to my PQM or RDM. I need to find my 12/31 lifetime miles printout to see if the current figure is "right" or not... I mistakenly on 3/2 did only a dump of my YTD activity, which does not show lifetime balance.

bmvaughn Apr 8, 2012 12:51 pm

My lifetime is now fixed. From my perspective, miles/instruments are now correct.

CPU's are clearing normally now from what I can tell but are resulting in no seat assignments. Why?

PMCO never had this problem but PMUA did when you were upgraded after your normal window opened. Since PMCO is running this process I would expect seat assignments to be normal.

Small, small problem compared to many of the other problems. Just a nuisance, really.

Cyborg, the post title "points phasing in and out of the space-time continuum"- HILARIOUS! :D :D :D

ONE of my ON-coded supgraded segments from 3/3 posted the PQMs yesterday (OK, not really it was an imaginary number, staying on the geek track here, becoming a real number today). The other ON-coded segment on 3/5 has yet to post. RDMs and lifetime miles were added as well.

There's some sweeping going on.

I have noticed that PMUA if activity resulted in 0.5 RDMs or PQMs, such as a Z fare with 5799 flight miles, one would get rounded up, in this case to 8699 RDMs and PQMs. New world order rounds down, in my example, 8698 RDM/PQM. Therefore, I'm not surprised that you received 172 RDM and 171 PQM, as your purchase was probably for $171.50 or something close. :D

I think that they were trying to pull the same thing when they magically shrank the planet on 3/3 and SFO-ORD went from 1846 miles to 1839. New tables my a-- they were trying to rook us little by little on PQMs.

My lifetime miles and PQM are now correct (including fixing the great-circle shrinkage for flights in the period when it was in effect). My RDM would be correct but for one award that I'm still waiting on the refund of miles.

Called about the points phasing in and out and this time the agent, backed up by supervisor said it would be taken care of by a sweep...

...wait for it...

...on April 30th.

wow

so underwhelmed.

Is this the best they can do?

What happened to the days of United Airlines Mileage Plus agents taking care of these sorts of issues with a single phone call?

Jeff Smisek, I've come to the conclusion that your computer system sucks.

(I'm waiting to be called a pig eyed sack of sh-t).

Cheers,
