I don't know if there is a correlation, but the responses to the outstanding issues from UA has significantly diminished as the bad press on these issues continue. I wonder if the execs are pushing everyone to clam up on these issues until they get resolved? UAInsider hasn't posted since the 31st and the unitedhub site has no mention of any system problems or call center delays any more...

I finally gave up waiting and tried calling to resolve some missing RDM and PQM credits from the DEQM promotion in January (PMCO ticket, PMUA flights, "real" MP number). The agent did not require much explanation, just looked up the ticket and said I'd see the credits within 48 hours. A few hours later I did see flight credits, but they were all wrong and totaled substantially more than I should have received.

At this point, I still have lots of mileage errors in both directions, but have come out ahead. While I don't want to waste any more time on this and am certainly more than satisfied with the current result, I have this nagging fear that the errors in my favor will one day disappear, and by then it may be too late to get them to give me what I was supposed to get in the first place.

Should I try to get my account properly fixed, or leave well enough alone?

Just don't rely on any of the "extra" to reach your intended status level for next year, or you could always find it audited away at year's end.

still many problems

Hmm today I had to call to fix seats screwup for Sunday flights. didnt take long,UA agent was responsive. Seat map was screwy since yesterday wehn it was fine. She moved us 1 row back, later I rechecked sure enough same problem in opposite seats.. Had to call again after another horrendous mess of being unable to sign in to UA site.Same password for 17 years had worked. This time-after reassuring me the seats are ok- despite only mine showing on seat map- they gave me to a CO web guy- he helped sort of by making me selct a new password -after using mine since 1995 through this morning thousands of times successfully. No warning that it now no longer worked.
Did that begrudgingly and now I can sign in again. Others having these issues?

It's fascinating watching my account. In the three hours since I last checked, an erroneous credit from a few weeks ago for an ON award segment has disappeared. I wonder if these mileage credits will ever completely stabilize or if a certain amount of "noise" is just the new reality.

If that happens to me -- I always wait about an hour and clear my cookies and try again. It usually works out.

ON credit

I am not at all surprised that the "fix date" has come and gone. There is a re-sweep coming on tax weekend. Supposedly. The trouble is that if you were to call MP about this, they would just tell you that a sweep is coming and they won't act on your ON issue. There have been several posts where people have tried to call in the last few weeks and been told just that.

I know it's not much help.

Finally, my 17 Mar 2012 flight SAN-BOS, upgraded with RDU to ON - but should have been R - has posted, incrementing my Year to Date Premier Miles and my Lifetime UA miles.

Perhaps the sweep was run today....

Same here, except it was a GPU upgrade from D-> on a 3-cabin plane, back on 3/20. I got the RDM and PQM, with appropriate boni, but my lifetime numbers are still stuck.

First class to standby

Since March 3rd I've had more problems than I want to write about but Wednesday was a new one. Flying from MSP to DEN I had been upgraded to first class to seat 3A on an A320. They then switched the plane to an A319 with only two rows of first class and no row 3 on the plane. Instead of putting me back in coach, I was bumped off the flight altogether and put on standby. And since I was no longer on that flight, the new CO system also canceled me off my next flight.

The agent in the lounge was great and did all she could, which was get me a middle seat in coach and back on my upgrade on the connecting flight. When I headed to the gate, I overheard her saying to a coworker, "It's bulls... how we treat people now." I appreciated her efforts and her sentiments.

I feel I waite long enough for the folks tp get teir act together and waited over a month to voice my complaint to CSR at the new United:
I realize that merging large systems is a major undertaking and I have been waiting to voice my complaint until at least a month have past. However, I must take exception to the amateurish way that your integration was handled. I flew NRT-LAX on 3/6 and as a 1K I was assigned Boarding Group 5. When I questioned my boarding priority, I was assured that this was correct because everything was fine with the new system. When I got to the United Club, there was a long line trying to get in because they had to check passengers in manally. When I boarded in Group 5, I found that the overhead bin on the E+ bulkhead seat was already nearly full. I chose the seats because I thought that I as a 1K had priority boarding but the E+ section was nearly half full by the time I boarded. Given the inconvenience I felt, I would have been pleased if the whole sysem worked as pre3/3.
For me, the system was not broken until 3/3, a day that will live in infamy. When will everything be fixed?

Sounds like you got hit with some variant of the "you must have a UA credit card and thus get zone 5!" bug, whereby said credit card status overrides everything else in the system.

(Bolding mine.) I can just imagine that quote coming from a conversation between Smisek and Tilton, overheard by the IT director who took it quite literally. ;)

Yeah!! My miles are now basically reconciled!

1. Original NC flights that converted over as ON instead or R have been
adjusted and now show as R with earning miles.

2. All flights have now been corrected to the new mileage per GCM.

Only remaining issue is the 50% bonus earned on upgrades with R fare
class. Expect these to be voided on next run. Finally some progress!

I still suffer from the Incredible Shrinking World mileage on my flights on 3/2 and 3/4.
