My lifetime flight miles did advance but are still off by a 5k. What a piece of junk system. No one from UA dares stand to defend it. :td:
Looking at my wife's account the best I can make sense of adding numbers is lifetime flight miles advanced by adding flights posted to mid-March 2012 since "integration". Anyone else seeing numbers add up this way? |
Girlfriend had a posting from pre-cutover change over the weekend. Instead of 1415mi, it was changed down to 1400mi.

How long is it supposed to take for miles to post after a UA-operated flight? Thanks.

Of course, I'm now 5 days past my last UA flights, which still haven't posted yet :td: |
On an outbound fly on 3/27, the miles posted on 2 days later. On the return on 4/4, the miles still haven't posted.

Mileage credit and redeposit. When you take an eligible flight on United, the mileage credit and Premier qualifying activity will appear in your account approximately 72 hours after departure. Flights on a Star Alliance member airline or another airline partner may take a bit longer. If a flight is missing from your account, you can call the MileagePlus Service Center to request the credit, and it will appear in your account approximately three weeks later. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...onversion.html |
All my mileage postings were corrected to the original mileage amounts but I still see these problems:
- PQM bonuses for upgraded flights (they can stay if it is easier for them :) ) - Still have some converted ON class flights - Uncleared RPU from over two weeks ago still not re-deposited. I guess I will have to call on this... |

I say, if you really want to be able to use that RPU in the future, call to make it happen ;) |

In the times that I called the refunds dept this week, they were quite helpful (and each time I called, they answered pretty much on the first ring)
Is there no longer a refunds desk? If you call the refunds number (1-800-WECARE-2) it directs you to Alex. |

Happened to me over the weekend too. Between this and the PNR splitting at T-24, seems like SHARES really can't handle more than 1 person on a PNR :td:
From this page: http://www.united.com/web/en-US/cont...e/default.aspx Complimentary Premier Upgrades on award tickets will be prioritized after the lowest paid fare class. This benefit does not apply to companions traveling on award tickets. What you have to do though, is split the PNR or the companion will *block* you from receiving the benefit. That's just how the system works. |

Purchased a fully refundable Y ticket on UA on 2/21/12. Cancelled on 2/23/12. Reservations told me I would have to call refunds to get my refund processed. Called refunds (yes, there was a refunds department back then) and was told I would have to process my refund request on line. Did so, and 6 weeks later got back half of my ticket. The email that came with the notification said "For additional information regarding your refund, please contact a United representative at 1-800-United-1." After 30 minutes on hold I was told that I needed to process my query on the feedback link at United. Just did that.

At some point, the only way this is going to change, is if the credit card company hold back amount goes up on United. |
FYI. Posted a thread on how I got my wife's RPUs back in the United MP forum.
