Itineraries:
When flights on an itinerary are flown, they drop off from the itinerary as soon as they are flown thus leaving only the remaining flights and while some may think this is minor, it's a royal PITA if you have to reconstruct your itinerary for mileage credit or need to give a copy for work purposes (or something similar). Under PMUA, the complete (n.b. complete) itinerary (complete with any irrops changes) showed and was retrievable on-line and my question is, why is this now the case?.

+1 ^

The current/new approach smacks of revisionist history, in my mind.

I was re-booked by UA due to irrops, and the booking receipt for the trip does not show the detail.
The paid total changed, the original amount is not noted, and the new paid total includes what I can only assume is the amount UA paid to rebook me on another airline.

The flight information changed, so that it looks like I booked a segment that I didn't.

My original segment (that was missed due to UA irrops) no longer appears on the itinerary or receipt.
Only two items hint that the original itin was different than what shows now:
There are seven seats (two of which are blank) indicated under the header, even though the flight information includes only six segments.

The word "INVOL" is floating in space near the fare rules.

Flew out of KOA yesterday. When I went to the counter to check in my bags, the agent insisted on doing it for me. What would have taken me 30 seconds turned into 10 minutes as the former United agent struggled with the new computer system while a former Continental agent coached her. More than once I offered to do it from my screen, but the agent kept insisting she needed to do it for the practice. Fortunately, I wasn't in a hurry; but this is ridiculous.

Still waiting...

... for a 12,500 deposit of goodwill miles from a UA flight cancellation promised to me on 1/19 and again on 2/20
... for my third flight on 3/10 to post (when requested online, website indicates all flights have posted)
... for my 75% PP bonus miles to appear post 3/3

Miles from Tueday's flight just posted to my account but the same miles were posted as negatives in PQM and deducted from RDM. Kind of disappointed to see that this issue has not been resolved for I thought this issue was fixed last week.

Not sure this is related to the integration but ive been a bit frustrated in my attempt to upgrade my outbound flights LAS-IAD-CDG departing tomorrow 3/17.

Question... If you try for a waitlisted Miles & Cash upgrade and they only upgrade one leg, do you still have to pay the full charge?

I booked the trip back in the fall and a few days ago noticed I now had the ability to upgrade to First using Miles & Cash (20k & $550 to be exact). I went though the steps and it showed me wait listed. Fine. Well at 6a I get an automated call followed by an email saying that I'm not gonna be upgraded.

So I go online to check-in and I notice one of my E+ seats is not showing up. I fish around and find my receipt and call and ask what happened. After a long pause just to speak to the agent, and again for him to figure out what's going on he comes back and says my first leg was upgraded but not the second AND my original E+ seat on the second leg is no more. He got me another, but what gives?

And am I really about to get charged $550 and 20k miles for a one way domestic upgrade when I was already in E+? Guess I have to play the waiting game but that $550 pending transaction is sitting on my card staring at me right now.

if the long haul portion does not clear -- you should only be charged for the equivalent of the domestic upgrade. Will this happen automatically, hard to tell given state of system integration.

Ditto! I was pleased to see yesterday that my account looked all straightened out. But, today my Monday flight posted, and guess what - yes, went straight back into negative numbers on the PQM for the last statement! End result, miles flown increased, but elite mileage stayed steady because of the deduction from the previous balance!

Le sigh! :)

Maybe this is their way of getting us used to waiting 1-2 weeks for our miles to post under their precious SHARES?

I can't believe they haven't fixed this negative PQMs thing. Once(if) my miles from 3/13 and 3/15 ever post, I'll now expect this BS to occur again.

The new rules don't indicate whether the 500 minimum is still in effect for US or AC flights, but I think I read in a separate post that some Premiers have received the 500 since the transition.

I haven't flown US since 3/3, but I flew a <500mile US RT in late Feb, and the outgoing segment posted without the 500 mile minimum and the return posted with the 500 mile minimum. Both segments took over a week to post, probably US's fault initially, but such that they both posted post-integration and now after re-integration only one of them is actually visible in the activity report. But I can calculate from my summed PQMs that they remain different.

I hate to say it but... your mileage may vary

Not sure I trust it yet. However I did have a 3/4 flight on US post with the 500 minimum and my 500 bonus.

Unfortunately no other flights (waiting on 4 more segments with 2 more on US and 2 on CO) I've taken have posted since 3/4 whether it be *G or CO flights to be sure that will be the case consistently.

I'm getting tired of this negative number problem. I just got that fixed last week and it's back again.

I noticed this ad on the site:

STOP WAITING - Forget about the taxi line - we'll drive you.

links to continental.com. Which loops back to United.com. So, the experience is broken (on the odd chance you wanted to use this silly service of theirs).

No RN/R fares showing. GPU applied twice per flight

Found R/RN on a RT flight to PEK on ExpertFlyer. Went to book it on United. No R/RN fares were available according to flight info at United. Booked anyway. After booking no opportunity to upgrade or buy any of the niceties. Called 1K number to get the Premier Executive line after 7-10 min wait. Explain that I wanted to apply GPUs to flight I just purchased. The agent did it. Hung up. Logged back on to check my seating. Adjusted my seating and noticed 4 GPUs missing. Called back. Another wait. Had a three way with MP and ticketing agent. Put on hold MP came back and said I had applied 4 SWUs. (???) I said no I had called and had another agent apply two GPUs to the trip. Hold again. Yes MP said she could see that. Dead air. The agent intercedes and ask MP if they could put the two GPUs back into my account. MP said she would ask her supervisor. MP returns and said she did it. Agent and I logged back into my account and saw them. I'm glad things are getting better. ;)

Has a similar experience in KOA on 3/9. Agent (being coached) took approximately 15 minutes to accept checked bags and produce boarding passes. :)

One more update.

I am now on a virtual list. If you're looking at the screens at the gate, you don't see me. But the gate agents have figured out where I should be on the list, and will treat battle field upgrades this way. I think this is a great solution (finally). However, if you ever see that you are #1 on the list with one seat left, you need to remember that the GAs may be keeping their own list, and there are good reasons they are.

I totally agree. The systems are really awful. They have a choice of misinforming people or disadvantaging other people. At this point a little misinformation seems the superior solultion.

There should be no secret lists. The monitor should display the one true list.

This is unreal. I just had my return flight post... The RdMs posted correctly, the outbound did not post. The PQM posted in the NEGATIVE.

Those discount economy fares, especially when flown by elites, are losses for UA. It is only right that you lose PQMs. And if you end up with negative PQMs for the year, UA should require you to buy Elite maximizer.

Fellow FTers,

Unless your missing miles are affecting your status or ability to book rewards, please CHILL OUT! Last week I spoke to a nice rep because I couldn't book a rewards trip due to missing miles. She informed me it would be another 2 weeks before the system is back to normal.

So please, if it's just your miles and fare classes, just keep track and chill out for another week. If after another week things are still bad then we can let loose. But right now pls just sit back and wait it out.

Thanks.
Elie W

Missing miles can cost an elite a scarce seat in a premium cabin. RDMs delayed are RDMs denied.

Only the RDMs for one of my three post integration segments has posted.
