My recent LH flights on S class fare are posting only 50% PQM. Any ideas when we can expect that to be fixed? Also missing L class connecting flights on LH within Europe.

"Detailed activity" summary comes with a caveat that the activity may not be correct and to check one's periodically-published Mileage Plus Statement for the correct info.
The link to said Mileage Plus Statement goes to an incredibly outdated OnePass statement (mine ends in mid-2011; I had OP activity well after that). |
PQMs YTD Increased by about 330,000 miles!
Not sure if this has been reported by anyone else...can't find it on a search:
Miles from my EWR-PVG round trip took a few days longer than usual to post and when then finally did, I was greeted with my "Year To Date Premier Miles:" being set to 398,928 miles. Now I have done a good amount of flying so far this year, but that should be more like 65K PQM miles. All other balances seem in check, however - Mileage balance, Lifetime, etc. etc. While I welcome the boost, I'm sure they'll catch the glitch and fix it. In the meantime, I'd like to know what my "true" YTD PQM balance is! |
RPU cleared but meant no online check-in
RPU cleared at about T-96. When I went to select seats, tabs remained on the record for my old Y seating. I did not notice that I did not receive a check-in email at T-24. When I tried to check in this morning I got a message that there was a problem with my reservation. I called and was told that the system was interpreting the upgrade as a conflicting itinerary (because the old seat assignments still showed). So, good news, an RPU cleared. Bad news, still had to waste time on the phone trying to check in.

Lifetime miles is not moving correctly and I have a flight missing and the missing flight predates 3/3. You would have thought this would have been sorted out by now.
For the Million Miler companion program, how long is a piece of spring? Million Miler companion enrollment is temporarily unavailable. An updated version of this site will be available later this spring — please check back soon. Thank you for your patience. :D |

I see that displaying partner PNRs on the view reservation page is no longer one of the issues listed in post #1. Does that mean this has been fixed? Or that it is not going to happen? I don't have a current itinerary involving partners at this point, so I'm not able to tell.

What does your "status progress bar" show and I wonder if you'll get all the corresponding RPU's that go with "earning" all those PQM's ;)

UA changing seats. Come on. My exit row aisle for tomorrow changed to non exit row aisle. Now we have to check our seating every 5 minutes. STUPID!

And with the phone system the way it is, there's really nobody to call. nothing to do but speak with your wallet at this point. While I think that the customer impact of all this will take several quarters to take hold, I think it is telling that UAUA will lose 300M this quarter. (most likely fuel impact though) |
I'm starting an open-jaw journey today from BTV>LGA>ORD returning tomorrow to BDL.
US Airways is the carrier to LGA, and mechanical problems cancel the flight. I go downstairs to see the United rep at the counter, he quickly issues me a re-route from BTV>ORD on UA, skipping the LGA leg since I was missing my meeting thanks to leaking hydraulic fluid. I go over to the US Airways desk to get a meal voucher, and I'm told they don't give them anymore. Not that I was gonna miss that hot dog and chips and soda, but hey, come on! I've been here since 4:30AM.... Then I look at my UA-issued boarding pass for my noon flight to ORD, and it has....someone else's name...the guy had screwed up someone else's reservation/ticketing, and given me something that would have caused me all kinds of anguish at TSA Security if I hadn't happened to look at it first. So I go back, tell the UA ticket counter guy what has happened. No apology, he starts banging away on his keyboard. Takes him 10 minutes to get me a new boarding pass. I could tell he knew he may have really screwed the other guy, let's hope not. Heck, I consider myself pretty brave to be trying to fly an open-jaw with a codeshare that has now had the initial leg cancelled and a (flawed at first) re-route has been done. What do you bet I haven't written the last chapter of this little drama? |
Can't get seats on codeshare?
I have some ZK (Great Lakes) codeshares on an upcoming reservation. Originally, I had seats assigned, then UA dropped the segments altogether, then I got them back--but now can no longer pick a seat.
I have tried calling in a couple of times, and so far, the agents have said that they can't assign seats on partner flights. Yes, I know that's the case for a Y res on most European partners, for example, but it shouldn't be a problem on ZK--heck, I had seat assignments there, picked using the new .bomb when I made the reservation, until UA dropped the segments on me shortly after the integration. |
