Is it just me?
I've read back a bit and it seems that many post 3/3 flights have posted.... but mine remain locked at pre 3/4... I had a R/T SNA-MKE on the 10th and it's not there, although when I went in and request mileage credit, it stated it had already posted...

Flying SAN-ORD today and returning tomorrow. Can't check-in online because the reservation shows my outbound is ORD-SAN (tomorrow) and return is SAN-ORD (today). The message says I have to wait 24 hours to check-in! LOL. Hopefully, the airport will be able to check me in and I'll still have my upgrade seat.

Flight taken on 3/12 still not showing. Was told by MP agent that it did not show, because it was upgraded - not sure if this is part of the "ON-syndrome" mentioned here? Was told to be patient and wait 7 days for it to post.

Well I think I will get to experience the joys of the "is it a new 777 or not" for the next few days until my LHR-SFO flight. Changing from 77Q to B777 at the moment with the 77Q showing as the seat map - the fun being whether I will be able to change seats at check-in time - but I really want to turn this auto check in feature to off but cannot.
So my question about auto check in for those that have used it: does it only get enabled if you check in online for a flight and only work on the return segment ? ie. I do not want it to be enabled for the first segment as I expect the 777 seat fandango. |

Flight upgraded to ON. These flights are not posting miles or PQM/PQS class of service bonuses correctly. This issue will be addressed with an update to the system next week (week of March 19th). Missing accruals for ON will post after this fix
My DCA-ORD-DCA (7MAR-9MAR) flights were purchased in E class in Feb. At that time I applied 2 regional upgrades. In the post-merger ticket it was showing as ON class. According to UAInsider's information there is a fix due the week of March 19th. Just curious if that is still on track? |

Slight Headway?
Well...I finally reached an 1k agent who helped redeposit a missing upgrade. My wait time on hold was only 1 hour--an improvement--to get the issue resolved. She also said she credited my account for two missing flights on 3/2 and 3/4. Hopefully, they will show up. My flight from 3/17 already posted. I am still skeptical about the upgrade process, as I was not upgraded this week on 2 flights where I am ALWAYS upgraded. Spent some time talk to FA on board, at the gate, and the United Club. Everyone is very frustrated and very vocal about it.

I agree. Front line employees and in it with us more than ever. The suits got problems. Would anyone want to be a suit at UA these days? Not.

United/Continental web and phone consolidation a Diaster
The United/Continental reservation consolidation is not going well. I tried to change a flight. The web page couldn't do it and referred me to a phone number. The phone number (for Gold Cards) told me my wait would be more than 30 minutes and that I should go to the web page. Circular error? I was on hold for 50 minutes and it took another 20 minutes to learn the cost of changing the ticket was prohibitive. So much for the benefits of a million miler.

10 days and reservations STILL not ticketed
Booked reservations on 3/11 for travel in September and October via websupport as my e-certs would not take via United's "new and improved" website.
I know that COdbaUA does do "instant ticketing" and I can live with waiting a day or two but NOT 10 days! I have PM'd UA Insider with the PNR's after roughly 6 days and not even a courtesy response to the effect of "sorry I'm hammered but I'll have someone look into it as soon as I can" (or something similar) I called reservations today and was told that "everything is fine" with my reservations but reservations waiting to be ticketed are being handled based on travel dates with those closer in being ticketed first. :eek: Sorry but this is a big Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot afaic and totally not acceptable as a major airline vs a glorified regional carrier would not have this issue (and I'm not even gonna get into the issue that there was (n.b. was) upgrade availability up until yesterday) :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: There-now I feel better and thanks for letting me rant :) |
