The electronic BP from the UA app shifts from portrait to landscape and fails to scans many times at TSA or gate or UC.

On my last flight the FA in F kept bringing me a fresh napkin every time she brought a drink refill and I felt guilty wasting napkins when the original one was still good. Then at the end of the flight she had to pick up a whole pile of napkins.

They do that in coach as well, and it takes strong will on my part (as well as remembering) to tell the FA that I already HAVE a a napkin.

Why can't they be hardwired to do things that they were trained to do that matter instead of handing out a fresh napkin

Where is the "green" United here

Last couple times I was there they also didn't have any pepper jack. If that continues I think that qualifies as a tragedy. I will however accept replacement of it with Tillamook's habanero jack or smoked black pepper white cheddar.

Haven't had that problem, but lack of sesame seed crackers was a major blow.

Come to think of it, should not really be in this thread.

I had a CO FA fall asleep in the F jumpseat in complete view of the F cabin.

Considering the service from the sleeping FA and a typical awake CO FA isn't much different, I suppose it would qualify as an non-substantive complaint. In fact, a sleeping FA may be better than an awake FA, since they can be quieter.

Just wait until the FA starts snoring...

Flick up from the bottom of the screen and turn on rotation lock.

I'm on the more popular platform -- Android not Apple. Unfortunately individual app rotation control is not standard, there are free add-on apps that do provide individual app controls.

My recent flight with DTVs had the screens defaulted not to the usual CNBC, but to Newsmax TV - a self-proclaimed conservative network attempting to outflank Fox News. When I boarded, the graphics were screaming about voting fraud conspiracies.

Really, United? How is politically alienating a major proportion of your customer base just to flog this new network good for business? (And before anyone asks and we drift to OMNI-land, no, it would not be any more excusable if it was a network peddling any equally-unsubstantiated left-wing conspiracies.)
