I thought it was the proper way to "burn off" the last remnants of my cold.

On the cookie wrappers each wrapper says "Baked fresh, especially for you". If they're all "especially for me" then why don't I get all of them for myself? What would be the implication if I chose a cookie that was baked especially for a different "you"?

1. This thread is too hard to find.

2 The sun icon on the UA IFE MAP application looks like a nuclear test icon, or an orange dropped into a pot of Orange hand cleaning goo.

I have been planning a trip to Geneva and I have been playing around with dates to see what was available. A few days later I get the usual email from UA saying "Geneva is wondering where you are". I know that is nothing is new. I finally get my dates set and find the flights I want and I actually book it. Two days after booking the flight I get the same email! I guess Geneva did not get the memo that my flight is still several months away

That one is baked for you @:-)

Never had a problem asking for one baked for a different "you" when there were leftovers

Don't be ridiculous. Each mile should instantly post to your account as the plane flies along its route. You should be able to watch it like an odometer on a dashboard.

If that happens, then passengers are going to be begging the pilots to take every possible diversion and off-course heading they can fit in.

You may have heard that some people already do this; they just ask multiple pilots to take them on various aircraft to many different cities. It's called "mileage running."

If you had flown on LH and credited to M+, they would have. Leave it to German IT engineers to optimize SHARES. I suspect LH posts the RDMs days before the flight takes place.

Regardless, I do see this as substantiative.

Because you are sitting waiting for the 4 ground crew staffing IAD today to marshall you in.

Your miles don't post until your segment is COMPLETE of course.
