***Me-First, Selfish Side of Stupid Complaint***
The fact that I receive weekly offers for MP discounts/perks on the services provided by the UA partner I work for (which are meaningless to me), but haven't received a single targeted offer for UA bonus miles or discounts all year

***Business-First, Much More Important in the Big Picture Side of Stupid Complaint***
OTOH, I'm extremely grateful that UA is sending out those partner promotions and I hope you all are taking advantage of them!!!

Only twice have pilots come back midflight to thank me for flying with United.

Well, when they first removed the button-hole in the napkin that elegantly buttoned to my button-down shirts back in the 90's.

Then when they reintroduced the useless button-hole that is now rendered irrelevant because I travel wearing black T-shirts anymore.

Can a complaint get any less substantive than that? I suggest NOT!

They took away Maker's Mark and changed the nuts to include more that I don't like. Might as well fly in Y now

Wait...don't you mean claustrophobic?

Agoraphobia is the fear of open or public places.
Claustrophobia is the extreme or irrational fear of confined spaces.

Actually I did mean agoraphobic (though I misspelled it!).

And no, I'm not kidding about this...I actually found it sort of unnerving being in 9D and having SO much empty space in front of me. I've never felt agorophobic in any other situation, but I guess that on airplanes I've grown accustomed to have a reassuring seatback that's no more than a few feet away from me.

I'm glad to clarify this, because I want others to appreciate how truly stupid my complaint was.

Clearly questioned by someone who has never been in Row 9 on PS. Agoraphobic would be accurate!

The flight arrived early, so I didn't get my money's worth.

No more toothpicks with C and F meal service.

I loathe the fact that I am expected to bring my own now. I simply don't have the space to spare in my carry-on luggage.

I assume ExCrew was thinking I was complaining that Row 9 had insufficient room, which would also count as a horribly stupid complaint. (though not as stupid as my complaint that it has too much leg room...).

That being said, here are a few of mine:

1. The old school "United Entertainment Network" into that we all endured for years. Forgot what it was? Click here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPLEIj2x_jg

2. In keeping with the theme of IFE, Glenn Tilton. Is it me or does he verbally rush the end of every sentence in his promos? Don't believe me? Think back to this spring and his promo video with Daley's wife regarding the purchase of food on board domestic flights for some after school program. Listen to how he says, "Snack box." It's said in one syllable.

3. The ramen noodles they serve you mid flight to and from HKG in Y never really cook all the way through.

What's yours?
The stupidest, least substantive thing I could complain about is that I've now taken 30 seconds to write about the stupidest, least substantive thing I could complain about!

They also need to move them slightly higher - as it is, I need to twist my neck somewhat to be able to see well.

Also, if we need to get really silly - F arriving at the same time as Y. I paid more (yeah...), I should be getting to my destination at least half an hour earlier!

Best complaint here.

I feel your pain, brother. Those damn tiny flakes make me rage too.

1. People that put feet/socks/shoes on the bulkhead wall.

2. People that put feet/socks/shoes on your arm rest from the seat behind you.

3. Guys that piss on/and over the toilet seat.

Ok - small list

1) Paid Booze in Y-....
2) People who don't clean up after themselves in a toilet? Do I look like your parent?
3) The pretzels in the little brown foil bags... way too salty.
4) Plastic Cutlery.
5) Plastic Catering (no need to mention which station)
6) TED Style drinks
7) Plastic sick bags - how the heck am I meant to make an IFE unit out of it?
8) United's IFE choice.
9) The latest Mid-flight snack I had - a 1 chunk toberlone and a shortbread round
10) Dirty windows
11) Unloved painted planes

I could go on.....
