So not sure what to say/ask, if anything at all.

Also will be away in three months' time so also need my second dose a bit sooner than it would be otherwise so I feel I have a lot of requests for today!

once you have had your first dose of AZ, assuming you go ahead, wait 48 hours and then go on the online booking system. You should be offered appointments from the time that is 11 weeks after your first dose. Hopefully that falls before your trip abroad. If it is after your departure date, I may be inclined to book the appointment anyway in case your plans change. There is also the possibility of turning up for your second a week earlier and being “surprised” you have the date wrong, explain you are going away and they may well be able to accommodate you.

Got my rapid tests today 1 day after ordering them on gov.uk, let's see if I will ever need to use them for something! Thought it would be a good idea to keep the pack of 7 at home in case I need it for traveling etc.

Do you know what the expiry date is on these is?

Ditto mine arrived today too, can't fault that service.

Mine say 2023.02.09 so not sure if 2nd Sept 2023 or 9th Feb 2023 but either way long enough.

Feb 23. The dates are printed in reverse order as often done in China.

I think they have a 2 year shelf life, which would figure that stock being despatched now was manufactured at the end of Feb.

It says the manufacturing date is 2021.02.10 so agree must be February.

When you open it up the dates are on the little test kits.

YYYY-MM-DD is the standard ISO8601:2004 format for dates so It's 9th February 2023.

If the Year goes first, it is always Year-Month-Day, no country in the world uses a Year-Day-Month format, (though those crazy Americans still insist on using Month-Day-Year for arcane reasons :D)

I think Dan1113 is in Scotland so there isn't an online booking system.

Did you guys get a dispatch confirmation for the antigen tests? I ordered it yesterday morning but only received an order confirmation so far

DaveS Apr 10, 2021 6:55 am

Just in case anyone needs it, the URL for ordering the tests is:

https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus...ral-flow-tests

You can also pick them up at many, many places throughout the country if you don't want to wait for the post, the website will tell you where. I drove five mins down the road to one of the popup testing centres and grabbed a pack there. I was in and out in about two minutes.

cws, do you know how places are doing it when someone comes that has to answer yes to having had allergic reactions to things? A friend of mine is allergic to a few things and some unknown things, so he is curious if the system will already know this or if he has a chance of being turned away when he gets his appt and says 'yes' to those questions.
