It actually wasn't that soon... doubt that would've had anything to do with the speed.

Made mistake of allowing Global Entry creds expire, and sent renewal app in April 4.2019. Still shows "pending review" on my CBP dashboard, 3+mo later. Has anyone had luck just showing up at local TSA airport office to pursue finalization of application? I would be going to McCarren Int'l airport in Las Vegas.

On 5/15, emailed them and was told it's still pending
On 5/30, visited the enrollment center at the airport after an international trip - still pending

Today 7/9 (day 81) I called 877-227-5511 (#6/#1/#4/#0) and after several tries got to speak with a live person, and requested to escalate the application.
He confirmed that it was more than 11 weeks, checked the info, said he "can see it's in the final stages" - whatever that means, and that there are no issues with it. Then he escalated it. The email he sent says:

Current wait times for resolution is 3-4 weeks. We will contact you via this incident number once the request has been processed.

best feedback I've found re. delayed Global Entry application troubleshooting...am on hold with CBP now. Thanks for posting.

We went through US Preclearance at DUB today and Mrs. Xyzzy's status showed up on the GE machine as 'Expired' ... so clearly something is wr:(ng.

Applied 4/3/19 and approved 7/12/19. No interview.

Just to clarify: Mrs Xyzzy's TTP Dashboard shows a valid membership with a (presumably) 2024 expiration date? And the GE machine at DUB says "expired"? Is GE the ONLY TTP program that Mrs Xyzzy has ever been a member of? Never been a member of Nexus for example?

Should they have sent me a new card when I renewed? I renewed last year, and recently realized I did not get another card. Mine is expired...
(Not that I really use it for anything.)

Yes - dashboard sh:owed a 2024 expiry and "You cannot renew your membership until <date>" ... GE machine showed "expired" and she belongs to no other TTP (and has never belonged to any others).

The odd things that I just noticed are that the expiry date shown is not her birthday and the "Membership Number/PASSID" is not the number on her (now expired) card. Does that number change at renewal? I think this is going to require a call...

ETA: I think I know what happened. It seems she checked her status via the email address for the GE account of one of the children (birthdays match what was displayed) ... her application is still pending review.

PASSID number does not change. Expiration date is not your wife’s birthday is a good indication something is not right.

Mark your calendar to renew everyone's Global Entry 364 days before expiration so history will not repeat itself.:)

While we submitted ours well before their February and March 2020 expiration I’m glad we did. I was initially thinking this coming fall was plenty early but several here said do it now. I heeded their advise and here we are six weeks since we applied for renewal stuck in “pending review”. Our next International trip is next January so even if there is a continued holdup we’ll be good for that trip. Of course we go 90 days pending review, another 45-50 days or so, and I’ll be on the phone. Bottom line recommendation from me is mark your calendar and renew as early as the system will permit.

I renewed June 11 and am still waiting. my wife did it the same day and was approved withing 4 days
