I get the same error message. I installed the upgraded version now twice, rebooted my laptop, but I still can't use the tool. Oddly the top banner of the KVS tool still says "KVS Availability Tool 2.1.0/Gold"

It all depends on the browser you are using...I am familiar with Firefox and using the NoScript extension, therefore by default any scripts on the gallilleo site were not being run. If you are running IE I think the default is to allow scripts.

Are you re-requesting seat maps (using the Tool), or just clicking the Refresh button in the browser (which won't work)?

I would also check your MSIE cookie settings.

if it doesn't say ""KVS Availability Tool 2.1.4" then you haven't actually upgraded to the latest version.

Does the installation program say "2.2.4" when you install/update the Tool?

I'm getting a lot of errors when seraching for stuff relating to United.

Worldspan won't pull up avalbility
Sabre pricing won't allow me to look up fares either.

Only Apollo is working for me now :(

It's working now ^ For some reason, it works when I use Firefox but not IE

If you download V2.2.4, everything will start working again. Also, you will need to select Sabre/DotRes for Intl fares.

KVS Jul 23, 2006 3:47 pm

Sabre: Fares/TCY: US-US, US-Canada, Canada-US Fares Only

Please note that due to changes, announced by TCY (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...0&postcount=20), the Sabre: Fares/TCY method will only show fares between points within the US, and points between US and Canada.

The Sabre: Fares/DotRes method of the KVS Tool continues to be a reliable source for all published fares worldwide.

Absence Alert:
  • Please note that I will be unable to issue any new/replacement Registration Codes during the period between 1 August to 5 September 2006.

  • To ensure that you have uninterrupted access during that time, please take a moment to check your Registration Expiration Date. To do so, click the large orange [Registration] button in the Tool, and then click [Re-Register/Verify Registration].

  • If you need to extend your Registration, or were considering upgrading to a higher level, please contact me ASAP, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Reminder: Download Version 2.2.4:
  • Due to major changes in the ITN, all previous version of the Tool should no longer be used. If you have not yet upgraded to V2.2.4, be sure to download the latest version ASAP to ensure uninterrupted access. (This will resolve the persistent "CRS Error" messages).

Is it me or is the program taking forever to bring back results?

PreferBulkhead Jul 24, 2006 9:00 am

I think you have to be a tad more specific than that. The program can only return as fast as the back end. I just did a query on Apollo: ITN and it was back in a few seconds.
