Reminder: Registration Procedure

Due to an increasing number of FT-ers who PM me for a Registration Code without specifying their System Code, I just wanted to remind anyone who is requesting a new or a replacement Registration Code for the KVS Availability Tool that you must include your System Code (S-XXXXXXXX) that is shown by the Tool in your PMs.

What do the seatmap symbols mean?

Can someone translate the different symbols on a seatmap please?

I'm guessing:

* = Occupied
X = Blocked
. = Open
C = Seems to be related to the bassinet?

Yes, you are correct. I have also just added a legend to KVS Tool FAQ Part 3: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...45#post2804945

Cheetah_SA May 8, 2006 7:37 am

Thanks for the legend, KVS! ^ Another, not exactly commonly used, for BA long-haul is R = rear-facing seat.

Problem with seatmap function

Hi,

I have a sepcific problem with the seatmap function but so far no solution:

When I request TG0921C24MAY FRABKK 1505#0645 (+1) I can retrieve the seatmap through Worldspan Travel ASP Text for C/CL and I get the text version without any problems! As soon as I try any other source - even Worldspan Travel ASP Graphical I always get the message" No seatmap available". I can also try every other flight - always the same result. By the way, the other seatmap options are also not working (CWT/AXP....).

What do I do wrong???

Any help would highly be appreciated!

Thank you all very much!

Rainer

TG seat maps can only be retrieved via Worldspan (Text), or Galileo (Graphical),

But neither is "{D} = DEPORTEE" :) ... Thanks -- {R} has now been added to the legend KVS Tool FAQ, Part3.

CRS Error: We can't process the last entry

I am trying to see the fare rules and price from the US for LHR-IAD on AC. If I enter UK or CAD I get the Canadian fares and can bring up the fare rules, but if I enter US (because my TA is based in the US) I get the error message above. I logged into all 3 travelocity sites.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Dr. PITUK

AC fares continue to be missing from some TCY-based methods (see http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=538451 for a discussion on this issue).

The recently-introduced Sabre: Fares/DotRes method of the KVS Tool continues to be a reliable source for AC and other fares that are missing from TCY (such as UA & LH fares):

[KVS Availability Tool 2.1.1/Platinum - Sabre: Fares/DotRes/US-USD]

Sabre: Fares/TCY: UK-GBP

The UK-GBP POS of the Sabre: Fares/TCY will be removed, as Travelocity UK is no longer a 'real' Travelocity site, but just a façade for LastMinute.com. I will be looking for a replacement, but, in the meantime the fares can still be retrieved in the following currencies:

Using the Sabre: Fares/TCY method:
  • USD
  • CAD
Using the new Sabre: Fares/DotRes method:
  • USD
  • EUR
  • CAD
  • AUD (New: Will be available in the next version)

KVS,
Is there a reason when right clicking on a flight for a UA leg, I can no longer see how many miles the flight is? This was a very useful tool for me!

Cameron
