I was looking at Sabre Dot/Res for cheapest TK fares from JFK to DEL via SAW (Instanbul). It indicates for dates in question (departure in Feb and arrival in Mar) that cheapest base fare is about $505 (CAN) - G fare basis. Your Galileo and Sabre ITN fare availability functionalities indicate that there are plenty of G fare seats available on all 4 flights, for the any pair of dates we are interested in.
However, the TK web site (US) indicates that the cheapest fare (including taxes and fees) is over US$1600. Can you explain this discrepancy? |
I have no problem whatsoever pulling up TK flights with fare basis GPRO1M.
Pricing US$857.40 for JFK-IST-DEL and v.v. and includes US$280 fuel surcharge and other taxes. I cannot tell you why you are not seeing this for your particular flights, but of course you haven't provided your dates. Are you complying with the Saturday night stay requirement? And not staying beyond the 1 month maximum permitted with this fare? |

I could not find these business class fares on either Sabre functionality on the KVS tool (searching on multiple dates, from various US gateways).

Any chance on showing EK D class availability in your tool in the near future?

Joining an alliance isn't always guaranteed too to show award availability.

Thanks, for the information.
Oh, I now see the problem. I was just looking under business class fares - and did not see any Z fares. They are listed under economy fares. Somewhere under the FAQ section you have responded to the question? - that discounted business class fares are sometimes (or always) listed under economy fares, rather than business class fares? If they are listed under economy fares on occasion, and under business class fares on other occasions - can you tell me under what circumstances are they listed under each? For Air NZ Z class fares, I should look under economy fares (note - as indicated in a previous posting, the fare tools do not show C or D fares under business class fares - only economy class fares)? Conversely, do you not mention in FAQ that certain "economy" fares are listed under business (first) class fares? For example, the UA MUP/YUP type fares - are they listed under economy or business (first) class fares?

Cookies and emulator
I am trying to use KVS on my mac with the Crossover emulator. The tool works well until I try the UA/upgrade mode. I get an error message insisting that I need to enable cookies, yet I am sure they are enabled on all my web browsers. Any suggestions?
