You cannot buy through the tool. You can generally find the flight(s) through the carriers directly or through 3rd party booking sources.

That's very unlikely. If you are referring to free WiFi in BA lounges, did you go through their sign-in process first (which must be done using a web browser)?

Different availability with UA
 
KVS recommend Apollo for checking availability with UA. However, checking ORD-LHR for 30NOV08 on the UA922, Apollo was showing W1, Worldspan was showing W1, Galileo was showing W0 and Sabre was showing W0.

I rang UA and they said that there were no seats in W class.

Three hours later and the availability is still the same.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Different, but same kind of issue:
On KLM website, I found a special Holiday fare in business at 967 GBP (without taxes) from EDI to BOS (12/23-01/03)
I can't find it on Sabre fare dot/res (neither on ITA...)
No fare code on KLM site.
So some fares are not published?

If it's a KL fare, then it's not a published fare. Otherwise, there is an AF fare in that price range:

It still gives me a message:
Unable to retrive fares:
"Become a member!"
But I am a Plat member and everything else works fine.

Check your MSIE cookie settings: http://www.kvstool.com/FAQ.php#Errors
Another user recently reported that the issue was resolved by installing XP SP3.

This is irritating. First not being able to get the premium fares, now this 'Become a member!' message.
What's the problem?

TVN fares are working fine for me (Vista SP1).

I have WinXP SP3, IE settings are fine as the rest of KVS works perfectly, just this TVN has this fish...
