KVS,

I'm getting an error "A Security Error has occurred. Please contact the author for assistance: 38804/38791."

Please advise.

I think i have figured out the problem for people who are having trouble with USD fares.

for some reason, IE was blocking cookies from travelocity.com. Because of this, the fare module for USD was not working. As soon as i unblocked the cookies, it started to work.
You can check if the cookie is being blocked by going to travelocity.com and if you see a small eye-stop sign icon in the bottom right of the browser means it is being blocked.

hope this helps for whoever was having this problem.

Very cunning! I'll try it when I get home. I'm not sure that it is the case for me since the UK prices worked for a day and then stopped.

If it is the problem, how do I unblock the cookies in IE?

Thanks,

Dr. PITUK

THATS IT! Thanks -works like a charm now. To allow travelocity go to Privacy =>Sites -- then find travelocity and get rid of always block.

Thanks again

Thanks for confirming -- now we know what the source of the problem was!

I will be adding a section on this issue to the FAQ shortly ...

Thanks again

I have done that, setting all 3 travelocity sites (.com, .co.uk and .ca)to 'Always allow cookies'. I am now getting UK prices, but the Privacy eye still comes up and I can no longer view UK fare rules. I just get the travelocity.co.uk home page without being asked my login details. Same for Canada. For the US, I get Canadian fares, get asked for my password, but then just get brought to my travelocity account.

Thanks,

Dr. PITUK

You don't actually need to add the Travelocity sites to the list -- pls see the instructions at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...80#post2804880 for proper Cookie settings.

Ever find a Mac Solution

Singlepoint

Did you ever find a Mac solution?

I'm using VPC, but even on a Dual G5 its slow, I haven't gotten a reg code, so don't know about performance of the actual lookups.

thanks,
James

I am afraid the Tool cannot speed-up an inherently-slow emulator :). If you run the Tool in its native environment, it will run much better.

In fact, a few days ago, I tried running it on an i486/0.120 GHz system (circa ~1993), and it still ran with an acceptable speed.

The Tool is as emulator/Mac-friendly as it can be, e.g. the right-clicking has been replaced with double-clicking/keyboard shortcut to accommodate Mac users, but that's probably the most I can do at this point ...

Has anyone tried compiling it on DarWINE-ppc for Mac's?

Supposedly Darwine-x86 will is working on making Windows apps double clickable.

(I'm still on a Powerbook)
