Have you tried changing your HOST: setting?

Still no joy. CDN and GBP are the only ones that work, others give a blank grid. There is (significant) data transfer, just no results displayed.

Tried disabling my proxy and that worked. Something in the stream was causing it to get filtered for USD compared to the others, dunno what it could be - is it all coming from the same servers?

Then it must be your proxy server, which is causing the problem... Actually, CAD/USD/GBP fare results all come from different servers.

Thanks, that worked, but now I have a different problem. I can't pull up any any flights from EWR to NRT in using Amadeus.I get an error: CRS Error:we were unable to find flights on your specified dates. It gives the next and the previous dates as available, but when i select those I get the same error message. It seems to be a problem with CO as I can't pull up their other international flights either. Thanks.

UA flights showing W4/S4 but ITA unable to find?

I am running the full KVS tool with AUA as the GDS. UA900 for dates in May 22-31 shows W4 and S4. But when i constrain ITA to search /f bc=w|bc=s it fails to turn up any availability. Same goes for United.com and Orbitz.

So, are those 4 seats in W and S really available or am i missing something here?

Those 4 seats are available for booking, but that is always subject to there being an applicable W/S-class fare. Have you checked to see that such fares exist for the city pair/date in question?

[FAQ] CRS Error: We were unable to find flights on your specified dates

That happens with the AUA method, when you specify a specific time, yet there are no flights around that time. You just need to change the "TIME:" field to "(Any)".

Which GDS to choose for SQ?

Which GDS should i use for looking up fare bucket availability for SQ?

PreferBulkhead Feb 13, 2006 1:36 pm

A good spot to check is the first few posts in this thread which form an FAQ for KVS. In the 2nd post you will see:

Which Access Method/System Is Best To Use For Airline X?:

* For LH/OS/AF/BA/QF/BD/IB/SK/LO/AY:
Amadeus: AUA/*A

* For AA/US/AS:
Sabre: ITN/AXP

* For UA:
Apollo: ITN/CWT

* For NW/DL:
Worldspan: ITN/CWT

* For all other airlines:
Apollo: ITN/CWT, Amadeus: AUA/*A, or Sabre: ITN/AXP

Maybe that will help you?

Looking at the availability that each different system shows, I would rule out Sabre / Worldspan because they don't show was many fare buckets as Amadeus / Apollo. Between those 2, personally, I prefer Amadeus because it seems to run a bit faster than Apollo, but not sure which one is more accurate as they are both showing different availability.

Cheers

None are accurate since SQ uses its own CRS, althought Amadeus: AUA/*A comes closest.

Then what happens when, say an agent looks up seat availability, charges the customer based on GDS X's inaccurate availability info and he/she goes on his merry way? Would the airline refuse ticketing?
