Getting this error now. A few hours ago, it was working fine.
I really liked being able to browse in this mode. Please also remove the screenshot from your post as it is too wide. [KVS Availability Tool 7.3.7/Diamond - Awards/CX-OneWorld] Code:

Any plans?
I am up for Diamond renewal in a few days. Having lost UA awards (not KVS' fault), and useful fare information (including YQ) - I that KVS offers me for free.
Is there anything in the pipeline that I should take into account? Is there any new fare info or anything coming soon? |

As always, if there a specific feature that you would find useful, please do not hesitate to let us know.
As I understand it, the KVS Tool is a specialised web browser - and most browsers have a 'back' button, that enable you to return easily to the previously viewed screen/content within that tab. As the contents is displayed from a local cache, it is much quicker than having to wait for the query to be sent to the server and the information downloaded again. I often find myself looking at one thing on KVS, then another, and then wanting to go back to the previous one (all within the same Method/tab). So, having a 'back' button (and ideally also a 'forward' one) would be very convenient (and would also reduce the number of queries being sent to each engine...) As with other web browsers, I'd want the 'back' button to work within each tab (not jump to a different tab, even if that was where your last action was). However, a keyboard shortcut to move back and forth between tabs would also be useful. |

However, you can run as many instances of the KVS Tool as required by clicking [Tools] -> [Launch Another Instance]. Alternatively, you can use the [Ctrl] + [P] keyboard shortcut to quickly save a snapshot of the current results.

Hi KVS,
Diamond member here, thanks for the great tool. Struggling with the Power Search feature, maybe you can help. I'm looking for a CX Award ticket and would like to do a 1-month Power Search. However, when starting the search, Power Search stops when it finds a WAITLIST flight (FS@, CS@, WS@, YS@) - it does not stop when it finds availability (indicated by FS+, CS+, WS+, YS+) How can I get Power Search to bypass all of the Waitlist flights for CX Award searches? Thanks in advance |
Thanks for the prompt response.

KVS Tool does not have a cache facility, by design, so the results are always retrieved in real-time.

Just saw this great tool and decided to buy the license for 2 months. One question, I'm trying to see award upgrades for QR flights and I should enter my frequent flyer details, however no QR FFP in the list. How to get around this ?

Hi KVS,
Any idea why the JL-OneWorld award search method is not returning correct results for CX? I'm seeing Route Too Complex/Redemption Blocked, but have no problem seeing results on the JMB Parnter Airlines Award Ticket website. Sample: 4/18/15 LAX-HKG EDIT: As an additional note, BA-OneWorld doesn't seem to have any issues |
