MilesDependent, haubd: Thanks for reporting the problem -- I've just sent you each a PM with some alternative contribution methods ...

What's New:
  • Expedia Fare Listings -- enter the city pair/airline/date and click the [Fares] button
    • Now available in 3 versions: CA (fares in CAD), US (fares in USD), and UK (fares in GBP).

Do the 3 versions of Travelocity return the equivalent fare (but in the local currencies) only or are there also different fares displayed on each site?

I've seen special fares (e.g. those that are ticketing-restricted to a specific country/region) that were only shown by the corresponding Travelocity version.

KVS,
ITN is now showing I fares for Northwest, which is an international upgradable fare using miles. If you have a B fare and there is I availability you can upgrade using miles.

Recipient Unable to Receive Payments
We are not able to continue with this transaction because the recipient is unable to receive payments through the Amazon Honor System at this time.

Please try again at a later time.

KVS can you please send me the pm about any alternative methods as well ?

Thanks :)

What am I missing here?

Probably a really stupid question, but after reading this whole thread I didn't see an answer:

How do I see the seat maps?

After I doubleclick on any segment and choose Seat Map/Book Ticket, I either end up at CWT, AMex or CheapticketsCanada, where I can book my flight, but I don't see any seatmaps anywhere?

Any help appreciated

Thanks
David

You have to go through the motions of choosing your flight from the list of available flights and then on the next page (IIRC) you will be given the option to price and then on the 3rd page (IIRC) the option to choose seats ... KVS provides the interface to the tools -- it cannot control the tools themselves.

Thanks PreferBulkhead , my mistake then.

No worries and no mistake at all on your part :) just takes a bit to get to know the tool and how it interacts with other facilities ... hope you still find it useful! ^

I've now added the instructions for Seat Maps to the FAQ (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...74#post2804874)

P.S. A special thanks to the unofficial KVS Tool spokesperson PreferBulkhead for keeping and eye on this thread while I was updating the FAQ :)

Upgrade Reminder: Version 1.4.6

Just a quick reminder to all existing users of the KVS Tool who may still be using outdated versions (i.e. earlier than V1.4.6) to upgrade as the previous version will expire in a few days.

KVS,

Please add me to the list of FTers who have tried to send a payment through Amazon Honor System and were unable to complete the transaction.

Can you please send me the PM about alternate methods of sending payment?

Thanks :)
