if i have a ua rlo for two of us flying, but with two different last names, how do i use it with the pnr/itinerary retrieval? i can get galileo to work for a one-person rlo, but not for the ones where my wife and are on the same rlo and she uses her last name.

I am not sure Galileo PNRs, but I do know that for Sabre PNRs, in such cases, you can use the last name of either PAX.

BTW, was the 2 PAX booking made directly with UA (and the "one-person rlo" booking made via some other source, e.g. a TA)?

I'm new to the KVS tool and am trying to use it to search for FF award tickets.
I looked at this thread: booking codes, but I don't see the X or N booking codes at all when searching the SFO-YUL route using KVS tool.... they don't even show up as X0 and N0.
What am I missing?

Thanks for your help!

(PS: I only need to find out how to use this tool for *A carriers, because I have practically no miles on any other carrier).

Award fare codes for BWIA?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but what are the award ticket buckets for BW (BWIA) ? Are they X for economy and O for biz/first, as they are in other airlines?

Here is what I see for a sample flight. I'm using v.1.4.3.L. (Codes in question are highlighted in green. You may need to scroll right in the code box.)

Am I right to be looking at X and O classes, or am I off base?

Thanks in advance.

Certain airlines block their PNRs from being viewed by PAX when a booking was made directly with them. Two such airlines that come to mind are UA and AA. This does not affect bookings made via some other source (e.g. a travel agent or a 3rd-party booking website).

I have no idea :), but have you tried asking in the Other North & South America Frequent Flyer Programs forum?

Take a look at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...74&postcount=4 -- *A carriers for which award availability is shown are listed there.

Thanks!
Unfortunately, the UA link on that page is invalid
The AC link works, but it indicates that "I" is the award bucket - but the tool doesn't show any inventory for I (for the SFO - YUL route on Aug 11). I'm using version 1.4.3.L

Thanks for the swift reply. Good idea to ask the question over there.

Done.

We'll see what happens. Thanks again for a useful tool.

The UA link should now work. AC's <I> booking class is an upgrade booking class and it is only available to FULL-tier Tool users.

Why not to ask the airline itself? :)
