Availability varies by Point Of Sale?
Hi -
I use the FULL version of the KVS tool, and I had a question. Today I tried to buy an itinerary in France that showed available seats on KVS, but which my travel agent said was sold out (she was using Amadeus). So I checked again when I came home, and KVS shows availability (on Amadeus). Now in the KVS tool I don't need to choose a Sale City for Amadeus, so I don't think it is that. Has anyone experienced this? Is there something I am doing wrong in my search? Or are there just fewer seats available for France? :) The search is on Amadeus, "All Airlines": FDF --> POS outbound 25 Nov 2005 (the sold-out flight is LI 1807/TX 807, FDF --> SLU), inbound POS --> FDF 5 Dec 2005 (there is availability). Any help is appreciated! Thanks |

If you click on the [AA] link within that post, it will take you to a chart of booking classes displayed for AA. Within that chart, there will also be a link that says [AA award/upgrade classes]. For all *A member airlines, there is a 'sticky' in the *A Forum that lists award/upgrade classes for each *A airline. For other airlines, you would need to check the corresponding forum. |
How come results from KVS tool and expertflyer are different regarding availability?
I just noticed that the figures for availablity are different between KVS tool and expertflyer. eg, I was searching HKG-SYD for Nov 2nd on Cathay Pacific and the results for both business and first class are different. How is that?
