Is there any way to search availability of ANA Japan domestic awards alone?

Warning you will get sales pitch crap popups
I've paid for the highest level of KVS Tool for 4 years now,
but they aren't getting another Cent out of me if I have to get some bulllcrap sales pitch pop-up about renewing it in the 30 days every single time i open the program. Do you really have so much contempt for your customers? |

YOU may characterise it as "some bullcrap sales pitch pop-up" I characterise it as a useful reminder to me that if I don't act my membership will expire A single click on the "Hide this message" button and it is gone - until the next time you start KVS. Or you could press the "renew now" button, pay your subscription fee - and the message will disappear:D |

Had an interesting experience today. I'm trying to get some awards to Asia nailed down before the July 15 increase. Was looking for a J seat in KVS using the ANA method. Found what I wanted and called Aeroplan. Unavailable. Agent explained that just because the operating carrier has the availability doesn't mean that it's available to AC. OK, I already know that.
Checked AC method (beta?) on KVS and, sure enough, it wasn't available. Called Aeroplan again, got a different agent. Made the same request. Agent searched for all availability for the city pair and date. The flight I wanted still showed unavailable. Then she said, "Let me try another way." This time she searched by date and flight number and the availability was there!! Grabbed the seat, all set. I've never heard of this happening before. Does the manner in which the agent requests availability really produce different results? Anyone know anything? |

The new booking platform that agents are using is 'selective' as to what options are displayed to the agent. It sounds like your agent went and used the 'old' booking system where they can search by date, airline, and flight number. I didn't think they had access or were allowed to use it anymore. Supervisors have access to the old system. That system will return results with the seats available if they have been released to *A partners via Starnet while the new system may or may not. |
The top post has been updated to reflect the latest information and the addition of the new [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Method.

Is there any update on this, KVS? I'm happy I can use AC now, but AC seems to be delayed (I booked seats yesterday, still showing today, not on ANA tool). Any download link? (Crossover Mac)
Unfortunately, the Wine volunteer team is unable to provide an ETA on how long it will take them to resolve it, while CrossOver is looking for a sum of $3000 USD+ to fix a bug in their own product. Therefore, we would encourage all CrossOver users, who have purchased a CrossOver license, to contact its creators to speed things up -- please PM for the appropriate instructions. Alternatively, you can use one of the other Mac solutions that are not subject to this bug (e.g. Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion): http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Mac |

Data Source Error [I]: "ANA" on ubuntu/wine. Is there a fix? The Wine bug is the same on Mac & Linux. |
Just tried downloading the KVSTool app for Android and was wondering why the app wants the ability to use my phone to make calls. Is this legitimate?

I think it is probably because it has links inside for the airlines such that when you click on the airline name in search results you can call them.
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/3...ndroidcall.gif Rest assured, it will never place any calls, unless specifically requested by the user. |
