Hello,

I've just paid for a 2 month Platinum membership as a trial whilst contemplating a continued membership.

I'm trying to search for BA Award Availability, but keep getting the registration box pop-up telling me I need to be a Diamond Member. Is this correct, as I'd interpreted the membership levels table on the KVS website to indicate Platinum membership allowed these searches.

Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks. I've done so and received my temporary registration code. However, after three days I've not received my regular registration code. My old registration code still works for "platinum," but I've lost "diamond" access. I know that we're in the holiday period, but I would appreciate your attention to this.

Welcome to the KVS Tool!

You can access BA Award Availability via the [Awards/OneWorld] Method at the Platinum level and also via the [Awards/BA-OneWorld] & [Awards/JL-OneWorld] Methods at the Diamond level.

It appears that you did not complete the Registration Wizard Form after upgrading to Diamond.

This has now been taken care of -- please check your E-Mail Inbox for your Diamond Credentials.

I've been getting the same error message (somewhat intermittently, as it sometimes works...) for the last day or two.

I ran the internet connection test, and most seems fine but:

FF login credentials Q

Is it possible to retrieve login credentials from KVStool that one has previously stored?

I have a dying laptop which has all my FF logins in KVStool, just installed on a new system and I'm struggling to track down all the IDs and passwords.

Would be great if I could simply export all the logins from one system and import on another. Possible?

Thai Airways listings?

Using KVS, I cannot find any TG (Thai Airways) award listings whatsoever after October 26, 2013.
Thai Airways seems simply to have disappeared as a carrier after that date.
Anyone know why?

Its been a while since I redeemed on TG but as far as I can remember they don't release award seats that far out.

Hi I was thinking about picking up a membership to KVSTool and I wanted to know if you have already rolled out the necessary changes to be able to search for DJ/VA award flights now that they are on Sabre?

Thanks,

KVS Tool had supported Award Availability for VA & VA/DJ codeshares since May 2012:
http://Help.KVSTool.com/#VA

Now that all DJ flights are marketed using the VA code, they are supported as well:

KVS says "yes" ba.com says "no"!

When I see kvs showing F redemption availability on BA operated flights but ba.com says it isn't available ..... which is right and why is there a differece? I've noticed that KVS is showing this for 350 to 354 days but I thought redemptions were released at 350 days. Is this related?

Thanks.

Seat Maps

I am more and more disappointed with the seat maps - in particular Amadeus enhanced - as they are more and more either incorrect, not up to date or do not show up. (e.g. Lufthansa and Swiss) Cross checking with other systems and/or Airline is necessary. That is not what for I was buying this tool.

I am kindly asking KVS to improve here.

There should be no issue with LH or LX seat maps (both Standard & Enhanced). All Seat Maps are real-time, so they can't really be "not up to date".

If you have any specific examples, please provide them via http://Contact.KVSTool.com/

Sounds like an issue with the BA.com website -- have you tried calling BAEC to book?

The maximum date range for BAEC redemptions is 354 days.

I'm noticing a strange issue with Sabre Availability/FS.

DL1652 shows only 1 Y seat tomorrow when I search ATL-CLT.

[KVS Availability Tool 7.1.3/Diamond - Sabre: Availability/FS/US]
Code:

ATL  Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Intl GA US [KATL]
CLT  Charlotte Douglas NC US [KCLT]
TUE  22 Jan 2013

Carrier    Flight  From  Depart    To    Arrive    A/C  St  Availability
---------  ------  ----  --------  ----  --------  ---  --  --------------------------------------
DL        1652    ATL  12:05    CLT  13:20    M88      F0 P0 A0 Y1 B0 M0 H0 Q0 K0 L0 U0 T0 E0
DL        1095    ATL  10:45    CLT  12:04    M88      F2 P1 A0 Y9 B6 M5 H4 Q4 K4 L2 U1 T0 E0
DL        2251    ATL  09:20    CLT  10:35    73W      F4 P4 A2 Y9 B8 M6 H4 Q4 K3 L1 U0 T0 E0

If I search for the flight as part of a connecting itinerary, however, I get very different availability. It even differs depending on which flight I choose inbound to ATL.

See the following for example. DL1652 show 4 Y seats in the first two options, and 8 Y seats and 2 F seats in the third option. Again, this is the flight that showed 1 Y seat in the above search.

Any idea why? Also, how will this affect same-day changes on DL? tnx

I am new to kvs tool, entered all the information for award search

But it came back with no award availability.

I am searching for sfo to lim (peru) on july 03 and onwards.
created qantas frequent flyer account, for oneworld award. I gave all the information exactly like in the example screen shot, but it came back with no award availability. AA site shows lots of seats available, but I want to see from other one world airlines in this route.

How to debug this problem?

Welcome to the KVS Tool!

AA.com does not show any Standard Award seats available on 03 Jul.

Are you sure you were looking at the correct Award Type on AA.com?:

OneWorld Award searches require a specific date to be entered.

swamyb Jan 23, 2013 1:36 am

Ok. Your Kvs tool either comes back with no award for any dates from July 01 to July 10, or I get 12152 error. I don't have any provision to specify different type of award(like standard, business, anytime). Looks like I cannot use it. Maybe please help me make it work or give the refund.

Why it has to be this complicated?

thanks
Swamy
