Sounds like a transient issue with the [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] Engine itself.

Please try clearing MSIE Cookies and restarting the KVS Tool:

This is what I got for any dates in July. Looks award availability is not working for this itinerary. I can get it work for US destinations, but this is for Lima, Peru.

KVS Useability Suggestion for DL Award Searches
 

After using KVS for a few months (and now relying on it), I learned there is an awful lot of info it will find for those who want it.

As an elite Delta flyer looking for awards, the search results are an alphabet soup because of the number and complexity of Delta award classes. At the same time, because Delta offers the fewest "low" awards of any U.S. major airline, most Delta "awards" returned by KVS are not desirable to FlyerTalk folks. By this, I mean the "medium" and "high" awards, and "Skybonus" (corporate) awards.

Here's the suggestion:
KVS already has a checkbox for "Elite" to show Delta's elite-only awards.
How about a checkbox (or two) for "low only" and "Skybonus"?
I would always check the low-only and leave "Skybonus" unchecked.

Can anybody check for me, any EY awards (AA saver) from TXL-DEL one way for the first week of April (1-7)?

This functionality is already available -- just goto the [Filter] Tab in the KVS Tool and set it to only show flights with FS CS YS YE Availability.

KVS is a terrific service I've been using for a number of years. May I suggest an enhancement to the filter -- that being able to specify a connecting city. During certain times of the year I try to avoid connecting at DFW or ORD due to weather concerns. It would be great if I could filter results showing only connections at LAX (as an example).

+1. Would also be a good way to filter out sectors < 2,000 miles :)

You can request a specific connecting point when using the [Sabre: FS] & [Awards/StarAlliance] Methods or the KVS Tool Mobile Companion.

Also, you can sort any shown results by the connecting point(s) by clicking the [St] column header.

I was using the Sabre Availability map. The POS seems fixed at US and cannot be changed.

The [Sabre: FS] Method has a US POS.

To use a different POS, use the [Galileo: ETR] Method instead.

I tried following the instructions in the Microsoft Support Article Q181050, but when I tried to run the FixIt .msi, it said it was not applicable for my system...

I'm running Windows7 32-bit, and have IE9 installed (I actually use Chrome, but I assume that KVS is 'using the WinINet API directly'.) The Support Article indicates that it is only relevant for IE4 to IE8.

Is there another solution for IE9? Many thanks!

Seeing a lot of availability for QF 1 and QF9 DXB to LHR on KVS, however it's never bookable by any telephone agent. Specifically Jan 1 and 2 as of this post.

I'm seeing it in both the AU-QFA-SP1 and BA-Oneworld award/upgrades search.

I'm thinking that there's some sort of restriction on booking this without transiting Australia but is there anywhere in the software that would tell me this on this flight and any other potential flights?

There are reports of QF FF having Award pricing issues with redemptions on that route. However, the Award Availability shown via the KVS Tool is correct.

There's nothing posted on the KVS site that seems to indicate a widespread problem. My KVSTool is up to date, and I have 5 months still remaining on my contribution. I've tried unregistering and re-registering the computer i'm on but it doesn't seem to fix it.

The [Fares/DotRes] Engine is currently unavailable.

An updated version will be released shortly. In the meantime, please use the [Fares/PSH] / [Fares/FC] Methods instead.
