I've been searching the threads for KVS one way award info but cannot locate-sorry if it's in here somewhere. Looking 329-330 days out for MIA-ANU and not seeing availability but seeing on AA. Do I need to turn off round trip/turn on one way? If so, how?

What's the flight #/date?

look at 3/10/16, flight#2405, AA or 3/11/16, flight#2405 AA. They show up on AA but not at MileSAAver. Not sure if I can put a hold on, then reserve 2 days later when MileSAAver becomes available.

There is currently no C Award Availability on those flights:

AAnytime redemptions use Regular Availability, which can be accessed via the KVS Tool Mobile Companion.

AS on KVS

I'm brand new to KVS and trying to reconcile what I'm seeing there with what I see on AS's web site.

For Dec 27 SAT to SEA AS is showing award seats in low coach, refundable coach and refundable first. There is also one U upgrade available.

When I check KVS is show FA+, CS/, WS/ and YS+.

So KVS is showing two buckets with availability vs AS showing three and the U upgrade space isn't showing on KVS.

Can someone explain how the codes on KVS map to the buckets AS has? And why isn't KVS showing the U upgrade space?

Newbie problem.

YS+ implies YA+, so it does not need to be shown.

AS Upgrade (U) Class is a part of Regular Availability, which can be accessed via the KVS Tool Mobile Companion.

Please consult the AS section of the KVS Tool User Guide for complete details:

Thank you of clearing that up.

I'm running the Mobility Companion now and its showing U0 for SAT-SEA on AS657 but the AS web site is showing 1 space in U class. I also confirmed this is correct by calling AS reservation.

Any idea why the discrepancy?

Well this is getting strange. I hit the button again and U came up U1. So I hit it again and it went back to 0, a third time and it stayed at 0, a forth time and it came back as 1.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

You need to specify the Airline Code when searching for AS U Class Availability via the KVS Tool Mobile Companion.

That's the ad infinitum discussed issue of obscured POS that the mobile companion uses. Seems that it changes POS even between searches...

Wow. One really does need to know the ins and outs to get things to work. Thanks.

Now I'm getting weird error messages when I attempt to search via ANA or LH.

ANA give a "Data Source Error(L)" and tells me the reason is unclear and I should go look at their website but I didn't see anything there regarding what this is.

LH immediately returns "Error Requesting Data", Error 12169, SSL certificate is invalid and suggests I go to their site to troubleshoot. Not very informative.

I have no trouble logging on to either ANA or M&M with my login information.

I hate to keep asking obvious question but this stuff isn't obvious, at least to me.

Seems like a great program but not particularly user friendly.

These errors are caused by the bugs in the CrossOver Mac software and can be avoided by using Parallels Desktop / VMWare Fusion / VirtualBox / Apple Boot Camp instead.

Please forward us the screenshots (via E-Mail) so we can see if there is a possible work-around.

Are you saying that no one is able to use ANA and M&M with Crossover?

Until CrossOver resolves their bug, the [Awards/StarAlliance] Method will remain inaccessible for Mac Users, who use CrossOver -- this is noted in the KVS Tool User Guide. However, [Awards/AC-StarAlliance] can be used instead.

We had no reports of any issues with the [Awards/M&M] Method, so there must be something wrong with your particular installation -- we will be following-up with your directly regarding that.
