Is this processing limit thru ip or BA account based?
Restarting the KVS Tool will, normally, reset the limit (without the need to solve the CAPTCHA). |
Strange results with Awards/CX-One World
Getting some strange results with the Awards/CX-One World engine.
Take, for example, CX581 and CX583 from CTS-HKG on 10 Feb 2016. The KVS Awards/CX-One World engine claims there are 4 YA+ Priority Awards available (link to screenshot) which would be nice if it were true, but seems pretty unlikely since this is a peak date when the flights are likely to be packed with people returning to HKG after Chinese New Year. Sure enough, checking on the CX Web site (which is presumably where KVS gets its data from), I find there are no award seats available for either of those flights, even at the highest Priority Award level (link to screenshot). Perhaps KVS is somehow wrongly interpreting the data it gets from the CX Web site? Shame because I've always found KVS reliable for checking CX availability in the past. |

Following the transition to a 2-tier Priority Awards system, the [Awards/CX-OneWorld] Engine no longer supports direct requests for Priority Award Availability and was reporting false YA+ positives. Therefore, we have now removed the "Priority Y" option to avoid the display of erroneous results in the KVS Tool. |

The main reason I subscribed to KVS was to check Cathay award availability for its own frequent flyers, and if you take away Priority Y a major part of that is gone. |

That's a great shame. Can't the problem be fixed, instead of simply withdrawing this functionality? KVS supports multiple award availability levels for other airlines. Surely this is possible for Cathay as well?
If there is sufficient demand for it from the KVS Tool Members, we will be introducing a new sub-Method for the 2-Tier Priority Y searches in the future. |

Ohhhhhh, I get to be the first person on this thread to ask for a coupon code! The coupon box on the checkout form for the renewal on my annual diamond membership is looking mighty lonely! ;)

When using 7.8.1 with Delta I get the following error:
Data Source error (IS-1): Session Cookie Error I've logged into Delta.com and my account and award search is working there. I tried authorizing I believe it was first session cookies (which was already on) from help (only thing mentioned about cookies)....didn't make a difference. I'm on Windows 10...evaluation copy 10130. |

Is there an option for a free trial? Perhaps a day or two just to be able to do sample search? I tried Expert Flyer but they don't find any OneWorld/Qatar award flights. Don't want to spend my money on this and find out it also won't find what I'm looking for.
Thank you |
