The Award/DL-SkyTeam method has three options under the "Airline(s)" field. They are:

1. *S (Sch)
2. ** (Pri)
3. DL (Pri)

Selecting either of the (Pri) options allows one to select "Economy" in the "Cabin(s)" field.

What do these three options do?

Also, what does the "Max Results" check box do? Wouldn't I always want the "max" results?

One data point...

I notice that only the second option (that is, the ** (Pri) option) shows certain itineraries containing Alaska Airlines segments.

KVS tool asks me to update to Ver7.8.5 but after downloading countless times it keeps on installing as Ver7.7.5.

Without updating I am unable to use the tool. I have tried both manual and automatic install for Crossover.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? I am using Mac btw.

The [Sch] option searches by Schedule and [Pri] options search by Price in DL SM (based on the Cabin Class preference).

The [Max] option slightly increases the search time.

It is an issue with CrossOver Mac.

Please download the KVS Tool Setup using a web browser and then follow the Manual CrossOver Mac installation procedure.

AS searches broken on KVSTool?

I can't get AS award searches to work. Got an error message to upgrade to 7.8.5, did that, still get the error message:

"...requested function unavailable...or may require a newer version".

As of today 7.8.5 is the latest version and the website is not particularly helpful.

What POS (Point Of Sale) for availability is used?

rj123456 Aug 6, 2015 12:30 am

Now BA searches appear to be broken as it asks for a Capcha "which of images is pizza" that cannot be passed through.

That's how more and more websites (and their legal owners) protect their information against automated data harvesting and screen scrubbers/grabbers nowadays. We can expect more and more sites starting to do so as they are protecting their valuable information from unscrupulous business practices of some other "business operators" and paid for tools they provide.

The [Awards/BA-OneWorld] Method continues to function normally, but is subject to the velocity limits of that Engine.

Wasn't the answer last time that this is 'dynamic'? (And yes, I also don't know what that really means.) ;)

Last time I checked it wasn't possible to determine which POS is used which is why I switched from KVS to EF. If this changes I would certainly consider switching back to KVS.
