In the 777ERs, would 6D-6G's proximity to the galley/lavs really be a problem for sleeping via red-eye flights?
|
|
Hi - in the 777 are both sets of solo seats (on both sides) the same or is only one side the throne seats?

Business class seat recommendation for A340?
Any thoughts on the mini cabin (rows 4/5) vs the main cabin? I'm not SEN/HON, so the chances of getting them are probably slim to start with.
Looking at seatguru, 8A and K appear to be the ones to avoid. Thanks. |
from the seat map, looks like row 6 and 7 have no windows?
|
Not from what I can see ...

Hello good folks at LX, this is my first time booking an LX code-shared flight, ticketed by LX, and operated in part by LX and UA. I had a couple of questions for you.
Questions about an itinerary in J, ticketed by LX (LX stock), has LX flight #s, and looks something like this: AAA-ZRH-CCC-ZRH-AAA AAA-ZRH-CCC is operated by LX (AAA-ZRH) and UA (ZRH-CCC; on a codeshare with LX) CCC-ZRH-AAA is operated by UA (CCC-ZRH; on a codeshare with LX) and LX (ZRH-AAA) Questions: 1. How do you select the seats for the UA segments? Do you have to call LX for the UA PNR, or will they email it to you after it is ticketed? 2. For the throne seats, you have to select those during online check-in, right? 3. Will I have to check-in for each individual segments separately, as they are on two different carriers? (Usually, when it is LX the entire way, you can do an online check-in for your second segment, even if it is >24 hours away) 4. This is an extension of the question I asked in pt. 3: For the return leg, since the first seg is on UA, I have to online check-in with UA directly, I suppose, for the UA seg? And then separately with LX for the 2nd leg (and to get a throne seat)? Likewise for the outbound, I suppose: Online check in directly with LX (select the throne seat) for the first seg., and then check-in with UA for the second seg.? 5. My *G number will be in the rez. that will be ticketed through LX. I believe my FF details will be transferred over to UA as well, for the UA segs, without me having to re-enter them on the UA site? Thanks so much! |
Why the cloak and dagger ( AAA CCC)? What are you afraid of? ;)

Black helicopters hovering over your house? I am trying airport combinations in Asia, from where I'll get the cheapest J fare. BKK, HKG, SIN, PVG, etc. Destination is a US airport: JFK, LAX (preferably; want to try out the new 777); SFO, ORD. So, any suggestions on finding a decent fare, or perhaps my questions? Thanks! |

Here is a photo of 7K with 8K behind. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7193/6...62e41d5f40.jpg |
I flew HB-IOO (A32B/A321SL) in July on ARN-ZRH and it felt very cramped. I was seated in row 12, seat D.
Originally I assigned myself row 10, seat F, but at boarding I got re-assigned to row 12. :td: I don't understand why Swiss promises the seat selection with their classic fares but then it doesn't work. |
Hi - I am booked on a flight from ZRH to NBO in mid-Sept. It is an A330 and so far, most seats are available for purchase. How is 23K? I am small so do not need the extra space but definitely prefer to be in front of a cabin or in the back. I get anxious anywhere else. Is there space to cross over the person in the aisle? I like the idea of being in the smaller cabin...
Thank you for your help. Actually, for those who know, can I assume that 1:20 is enough to connect from the UAL flight from EWR to the LX flight to NBO? Do I actually have to do immigration or just security? |

Thanks for the quick feedback. I have no idea why I was allowed to select it, but seems to have stuck for both legs.
I will keep it :) I have limited experience with Swiss and really enjoyed my previous flight. Looking forward to a couple more. Thanks again. |
