On A330, I currently have 6A, which is the only throne available to me. Anything special I should be worried about? Other options are K seats rows 6 and 8-14.

On B773, I currently have 4K. Seatguru has this green for having lots of legroom - but does it still require jumping over the passenger in 4J if they are sleeping? My other options are thrones in rows 7 and 14-17.

Thanks

I'd stick with 6A on the 333 but opt for 7A on the 77W.

Hi,

I'm flying an A330 from USA on night flight and have 11K assigned.
No other individual seats available ...can i have 5K or 7K during the check in (those are for SEN HON reserved..?
Is a better option to go on 5A or 7A as the neighbor seat is free?

Thanks.

any opinions/comments to row 7 on the 777 ? proximity to the toilet/galley ?

Flying ZRH-JFK in December in a group of four and had reserved the seats 5ABGD well in advance.

Without any notification we were re-reseated to 5AB and 10GD. 5G ist still available while 5D seems to be blocked for SEN/HON.

Any way to get the seats we originally selected so we can sit all together?
Or is row 10/11 better because of the galley noise at row 5?

In general only K is blocked for elites in row 5. Must be another reason they "need" 5 D.

Seems to be blocked - not taken. Anyway, I was able to reserve the complete row 6 for us now which looks like a better choice than row 5 :)

I booked business on A330 and prefer a window seat. Was automatically put into 5A. All the good single seats seem to be reserved for senators. Would 11K be better than 5A?

Help choosing seats B773ER

Dear LX FTs !

I need your help choosing seats for flight LX87 (YUL-ZRH), next summer's last flight on the Boeing 777-300ER :)

I'm flying with my wife, and she told me it's OK that we choose single seats, if they are "better" or something (yes, she's used to my plane geekiness)...

So I've been reading about this configuration and I'm tempted to try one of the "throne" seats; apparently there are many seats I cannot choose, which are reserved for you loyal guys; these are the available ones:

So far I reserved 14A and 16A, but SeatGuru says 14A has a misaligned window. At which point is it misaligned/bothering ? (I couldn't find any picture of it).

Or should I go with 15K and 17K instead or those are less "throne" (according to Swiss seat map they don't have two consoles) ?

Any insight will be appreciated ! Thank you in advance.

Are 5A & 5B ok seats on the 777?

Is it correct that a SEN travelling with a non-SEN companion cannot reserve a pair of seats that are normally blocked for SEN, for example 4D-4G in business class? Both are on the same booking (not separate tickets).

Basically they are saying that if I want the SEN seat then I cannot sit with my fellow traveller?

I am a SEN traveling with a non-SEN and I was able to reserve us 4D and 4G. Not sure why this didn't work for you...

On the throne seats or otherwise one where there is a shelf between the seat and the window, the distance is too great for window-gazing, anyway. Doesnt really matter

The LX Lurker confirmed some time ago the seat selection map of the 777-300ER is not accurate. Unfortunately the error does not seem to have been corrected. All single throne seats in Business are the same whether A seats or K seats with a console on either side of the seat. So 15K and 17K are exactly the same as 14A and 16A.

This seatmap on their website is more accurate.
