Comments: Used the last of last year's SNAs it appeared to clear before expiration so I used it after April 1 (hmmm). Plat breakfast buffet is fine but the room is a bit dark and they sort of hurry you through (snatching up empty glasses from under your nose).

I find that the SPG GMs never respond to my letters, but always act on them if they see them. RC, FS and similar luxury level property GMs seem to always respond with a return email acknowledging mine.
But it's the result that matters. And this was an excellent result.

Comments: When I'm in San Diego I either stay here or the Four Points in Kearny Mesa. When I arrived, the hotel clerk apologized that no suits were available but was given a Club room instead on the 12th floor. My room was facing west and had a great view of the harbor and bay. Infact the weather was so good, I slept with the door open.. Lounge was good, one of the best views at breakfest... The C&P is one of the best values in San Diego... 5K+$75. Now my PLT elite level was never mentioned, and was never asked what I wanted as my gift. However, while checking in the guy next to me was Gold, he was thanked for staying with them and reconized as Gold... He also upgraded to the Club level for $30 bucks, which I thought was a great deal, since the price between the lowest priced room and club level is roughly $100 difference..

An odd experience in that I am typically upgraded into a junior suite early on and this time was preupgraded into a Club room.
