A bit of a disappointment but an upgrade; there was an event on at the hotel and this room did have the view of the Duomo.

Stay here multiple times/ year and this is the first time I have received this. The hotel seems to have high occupancy during the week ( conventions etc. ) and at weekends ( a large water park with slides etc. ), so often UG not available at all, except perhaps to Club Floor and/ or River view.

All the diplomatic suites are located at the two front corners of the hotel and roundabout 250 m from the four central elevators.
