Thanks for all the tips here. I was able to snag 6 tickets, 3 of them at excellent (way below the competition) prices, 3 at average prices.

What was interesting was....

Immediately after release, the prices looked terrible (no WGA), very high fares.

Then, later in the morning, WGA fares popped in and they were excellent indeed.

Is that next schedule extension is on February 26, 2015?

Can we see more new international routes? What's next?

Interesting. Back to Thursdays instead of Mondays again?

Travel Tools page says

We are currently accepting air reservations through August 7, 2015. On February 19, 2015, we will open our schedule for sale through October 30, 2015. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

Anyone know the history of when they usually post the new schedule....meaning, like at midnight or 6 am, Eastern? I've got some reservations to make with points - on a holiday weekend - and I'd like first crack at it.

Interesting that they're opening up nearly 3 months of schedules at once. I know Southwest doesn't leave schedules 100.00% untouched as they once did, yet they still don't generally do much fiddling once a schedule is published. So they're really rolling out a pretty big block.

The Southwest in a Nutshell newsletter that came out today says Feb. 26, while the Travel Tools page says Feb. 19. Is it most likely that the newsletter is based on outdated information?

Tried to schedule an (standard) award flight minutes after schedule extended and none available. Miss the days of seat available you can book an award ticket.

I posted similar question in another thread.... Schedule is extended, but flights are not loaded. BWI-SJD Looking for Aug 29-Sept 5th. In fact, no Cabo flights loaded after the old schedule extension.

going to do some more digging, but first glance shows me this:

CMH-OAK
CMH-BOS
FLL-DCA (is this moved from RSW via Air21? - CONFIRMED switching from RSW)
LAX-PDX
SNA-PDX (believe only SEA was announced last week, not PDX)
AUS-PDX (is this new?)
AUS-SNA - this was previously announced as was SNA-MDW, SNA-SEA and the DAL additions

Also, looks like the IT guy/girl forgot to push the "go live" button last night, but got it going at 9am when (s)he got in.

Both CMH-BOS and CMH-OAK are absolutely HUGE for me, although the nonstop to OAK is not at a convenient time (mid-afternoon). Prices on both of these new routes are incredible at the moment, too.
