I've rented from LAX sixt twice, January & March this year.
Both times booked PCAR and was upgraded to LFAR so can't complain there
Got X3 once and XC60 the other time.
The Major issue for me is the shuttle to and from LAX. Nowhere near as frequent as the big boys. One time I was out of customs and into the car in 25 mins whereas the other time I waited 20 minutes just to get to the hotel and then wait 10-15mins down the dark corner of the Renaissance where they put it just to get served.
They only had two staff, one was on the phone and the other wasn't the fastest either, but she wasn't trying the upsell either.
I'd use them again, purely because you're more likely to get a half decent Euro car rather than a box of US pig iron for a car.

A week after my rental was completed, got a message saying there was "door, front passenger side crash". The drop-off date was mis-stated as a day later than I really did drop off (I swapped vehicles the next day after pickup because I needed a four-door), the car was a brand new Audi A5 and I dropped it off in broad daylight, so any damage (of which there was none) should have been noted by the lot attendant who gave me the all-clear. Not sure where this is going, but I am regretting not taking pictures...

Did you get a receipt to that affect, or did the attendant take the keys and say "thank you, bye"? I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter, because most car hire companies would sooner give you a gold bullion bar than a receipt for dropping of a vehicle (in Europe anyway)

I've seen A3s, as well as CLA250 and BMW 228i (had one of those). My last rental there had zero PCARs. If you're partial to Audis, see if you can score a good deal on Silvercar.

Isn't that a good thing? I've always considered that the moment the attendant has my keys I'm gone like the wind, and I will fight any charges anyone might try to levy - as they're not supposed to accept a car with problems. Never had to leverage this but that's been my logic?
And Europe - fuhgeddaboutit.

My second LCAR reservation at LAX I received a SRX. Maybe because they didn't have any LCAR available. I tried to get a car and they were trying to give me a Audi A6, but they tried to charge me so no go on that.
On a side note, I noticed that the Cadillac's have better options. On-Star ready, back up camera, leather seats. On 2 Cadillac rentals one a Escalade and the other SRX. They've been better then any Benz I received in the pass from either Sixt or Hertz.
