Last week I took yet another survey that I supposedly completed, and I also completed two additional sections and was promised unspecified extra amounts. (I've been burned before by being kicked out after "completion" when I didn't want to do the extension. One would have required my contact information.) Kicked out. This time I tried the chatbot, which can't handle more than one complete sentence at a time but eventually it opened a ticket. Here was the response.
Trouble is, it was a $4 survey without the extensions.
They then sent me a survey asking about my satisfaction with how it was resolved and I told them I was tired of having my opinions essentially stolen. I used to rack up enough points for 2,000 AA miles every month, 7,000 Hilton points every 2 months and a $50 Starbucks gift card every 6 months. Now I just get the Hilton points. Too many frustrating endings to do more.
Unfortunately, we saw that you weren't able to complete this study because of some technical errors detected on our end. Thus, we have gone ahead and credited your account partially with $3 as one-time courtesy points for your time and effort in attempting to complete the study. We are truly sorry for this— encountering technical glitches or issues in the study are inevitable sometimes.

Prefer not to answer
I know my wife and I are screened out of a lot of surveys because we are ancient (74/77) and it upsets me because e-Rewards knows how old we are... That being said a lot of times it gives you the option to refuse to answer - but I'm guessing that's an automatic rejection anyway. Has anyone declined to answer and if so - what happened? On a side note I was able to get my wife's account reinstated earlier this month after a year but the surveys for both of us have been minimal and an awful lot have been going deep into the survey before kicking us out. I contacted them about one that I had completed then got the "sorry" screen and they came back in a few hours and gave me $3 for the $3.50 survey...

For a long time this afternoon surveys wouldn't load to either my page or my wife's. I was just able to get in and do a few surveys so that I can get frustrated at how few there are, how much time I waste before being kicked out, or having to contact them to get paid for completed surveys they boot us out of at the end... I would say over the last month 80% of the surveys are no good. Our pages always show 6 surveys available - but when you click on them - nothing. My production has dropped a good 50% just in the last month - I normally accumulated 600 a month, now I'm lucky to get 300.

Web site has been wonky off an on. When it’s not wanting to load surveys on the web site, I’ve been able to get in on an old e-mail link.

I have seen the same in the past few days. Works perfectly in the morning, In the evening I get rejected from 6+ surveys ina row - be they $1.00 or $4.00. Even cleaing my cache did not help.. Perhaps prayer is the next step in trying to get things to be Ok allteh time.

has anyone ever been able to complete the ENTERTAINMENT study that pay $8 for 35 minutes. They show you a bunch of logo from tv shows and brands, takes forever. Yet when you complete it perfectly and get to the end they redirect you and don't get anything? Ive done the survey many times before and always complain to them for my points.
But anyone actually complete it and get the points?
Seems impossible with this survey.
(yet they say im not the right match at the end all the time. ) LIARS.

I immediately exit any surveys with mcg at the start of the URL. They are advertised as 'Entertainment' studies and every one I ever tried disqualified me after many questions/minutes or completing the whole survey. Now, I exit out as I refuse to waste my time on them.

Back to no surveys again. Three days everything was fine. Then the next day the message says no surreys available. Tried to use a week old email and that did not work. Have sent message to support email but no reply in 3 days. I do not understand how things work and what to do. especially when they do not reply to "contact us" within the web site or separate emails. With the weekend coming up I wonder when I will hear back from them.
