Today from e-rewards:
Lunar New Year celebrations are set to kick off this Sunday.
So, what better way to HOP into the Year of the Rabbit than with a $10 bonus!
What do you need to do? Just complete 3 surveys by January 31.* It’s that simple.

I activated the offer shortly after receiving this email, completed one survey, and was awarded the $10 bonus. Thank you!

I clicked on the link in my email for the first survey, then completed two more, and so far all I have are rocks in my account, not the $10 bonus. The email says the bonus will hit the account upon completion of the third survey....I'll give them a day before sending them a request for the points.
EDITED TO ADD: After completing a few more surveys, beyond the required three, the $10 bonus posted as "Punchcard."

Yeah, it looks like that to me as well. The new dollar bonuses are great but the reduction of pity points to 20 cents as well as a limit on how many times you can get pity points over 24 hours takes away from the program. I'm also wary now of agreeing to an extension of the survey, supposedly for more points. On one I got kicked out during the extended section and got pity points. Yesterday I completed one with extensive questions about my health (it wanted total cholesterol, then the 3 components separately, which I had). The extension asked f I was willing to share my name and other identifying information. I selected the option to continue the survey but without supplying my name, etc. since I figured they'd ask about side effects of the statins I took once (they'd asked which ones I recognized/had taken) and they're required to report those to the FDA. Kicked out with pity points.
My quick calculation of the value of the points is about 1/3 cents each- so they're really nickel-and-diming us to chisel off 5 cents in Funny Money.

Dayum. The $5.00 surveys are gone. The longer ones are $3.50 now. If I thought they were charging survey sponsors proportionately less for completed surveys I might be OK with that- but I doubt that's happened.
I'm a retired actuary and if I think of the expected value of a survey it would be
(Probability of completing survey) X Survey reward + (Probability of getting kicked out) X value of pity points.
So... Probability of completing survey seems to be decreasing. Value of completed surveys and pity points are decreasing. I find only the Hilton points to be genuinely valuable , with AA miles a possible second, so won't be working too hard to rack up more $$, especially since both of those have limits on the frequency of redemptions.

Well, I hope I see a few more of the higher-value ones. Every day I get an e-mail telling me there are NEW surveys! Today I had ONE for $3.50. At least I completed it and got credit for it. No more on my dashboard.
And I'm done with the recurring ones (every couple of months or so) that lead you through a long list of brands or companies and ask if you recognize any. There are a couple of them that then lead you through a long list of questions for every brand/company you recognized. You almost feel punished for listing a lot of them. I just close out the survey.
Yes, I could just check off a few but I really do try to hold up my end of the bargain and be honest.

Weekends are generally when the survey router is pretty empty.
As annoying as the devaluation is, I’ll keep grinding away for the unlimited IHG and Accor points and a chance to add to my Alaska balance.
