Redemption on 12/14/2019 for Southwest Rapid Reward points STILL have not posted.......I HAVE put in a "ticket" / inquiry....I get a response saying it could take 6 weeks.... For the past few YEARS they would always post in a few days.
Anyone else seeing this for Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Points??

mirror74 Jan 9, 2020 6:33 am

Redeemed for Hertz and BA, wanted also UA, but got message "You have reached redemption limit for today. Try again later". There is nothing about daily (weekly?) redemption limits on their webpage. ...?

Eventually it goes away, typically in a few days- maybe they get enough responses. I've also gotten surveys where the info is already filled in. I ignore those, too.

I've seen this happen more and more often - this morning, I spent time on a survey about movies, got the successfully completed page and then when I clicked to find another survey, there was the "we've received enough responses" message. Credited me just the sceen out amount. I'm annoyed enough that I contacted them to complain. It's one thing to screen out in the process, it's another to complete a survey and then not receive credit.

Login issues resolved, but my friend is having issue a once redemption. Error message for any reward options.

I redeemed for an HH award on Jan. 3, and am wondering how long I should wait before contacting e-rewards about it. In particular, my last stay with Hilton was from March. 16-19 last year, and I don't want my points to expire. Thx tls

No improvements here either, redeemed on Dec 27. They are taking their full 4-6 weeks. Disclaimer is there and they don’t seem to want to help till after 6 weeks. Agonizing wait lol

Max 2 redemptions per 24 hours.

seems like a good address to give, doesn't it?

HHonours data point - redeemed 20/Dec, posted 8/Jan.

Good old days of real time postings are subjects of lore today.

I'd be a little wary of that. If you gave them your real info at any time (and they do ask for it for Hilton- maybe to match against the account?) they can check. I know they've got mine because, as I noted earlier, I was getting surveys pre-populated with my name and address.

A year or so ago they closed my account- the reason was boilerplate but included possibly failing tests to see if I was paying attention, going through the surveys too quickly, providing conflicting information, etc. I protested and was reinstated. I try to be honest even when I know I'll get kicked out (no, I have no intention of ever buying a current model-year car again) because I know that their main product is a group of honest, thoughtful survey respondents. I'm a fast reader and I CAN legitimately speed through some questions- I'm retired, for example, so a question about whether I'm employed in any of 20 fields is a quick "None".

So, if the surveys want personally identifiable information I just skip them.

Shagboy Jan 10, 2020 7:31 am

Just redeemed for United miles. Checked my account and the miles posted instantly. At least that redemption still works like it always has.

We are at a point where I am going to say: At least the points came in!

To be fair, on the bright site, I found that survey credits have been posting constantly and immediately. There used to be a frustrating lag time.

Agreed 100%. Sometimes I was left wondering if a credit was actually going to post, and then of course I'd forget to go back and check and had to trust that it actually did. Now the credits post instantly so it's easy to make sure they aren't cheating you!

It may be that his account is deactivated. After the new website I tried to log into my old deactivated account and succeeded. But I could not redeem from there, just gave an error message

I did a quick search here, and didn't see this discussed in the past. Other than supposedly making one "feel good" (pleeze...), what on earth are the e-reward "achievement" levels, and do they offer any value? I've never paid any attention to them, really didn't know they existed, are they part of the "new reward" program? I see today i have "diamond" status, and despite my searching e-rewards help, it doesn't appear the various levels are "worth" anything, eg in extra points, etc. Anyone have more information?

Personally I hope that it is mostly a skeleton elite program for now just to get the ball rolling. Once they invest more resources into it, I would hope to see a bigger difference.

pointshogger Jan 14, 2020 6:35 pm

SO happy today. Transferred Hilton Dec 27, points credited today Jan 14. Just under the 4-6 weeks disclaimer.

Athena53 Jan 15, 2020 7:31 am

I'd been wondering what they did with all the "Answer these Questions to Find a New Survey" answers since they don't seem to serve any purpose in getting me more surveys for which I qualify. They're certainly collecting enough info about where I shop, what diseases I have or don't have, etc.

Yesterday I was asked to check off what stores I'd shopped at in the last 6 months. I checked off Kroger, among others. There are no Krogers anywhere near me but I was visiting family in SC last month.

Right after that my FB feed showed a Kroger ad. Yep, the information is all for sale.

How about IHG? How long does it take for those now?

jwudbwei Jan 16, 2020 2:53 pm

I had one IHG submitted 2 weeks ago and still not credited. However, i did one yesterday and it was immediately credited. Go figure :)

Make sure you receive the email confirmation, so then you can forward that for processing.

Two major mistakes here: 1) using Facebook 2) not using an adblocker

Jan. 14 must have been a sweep day. My Dec. 23 redemption posted then.

Maybe that's what happens when they try to make BA redemptions available again for those who haven't had them at all for over 2 months?

WilcoRoger Jan 18, 2020 11:49 am

For me the BA availability's become available in Dec - now trying to redeem a second time. It all goes smoothly until the very last screen, when it throws up the error message. No help from e-rewards CS yet.

bj2757 Jan 18, 2020 12:07 pm

I see the Southwest points finally posted in both my spouse and my accounts - redeemed 24 Dec - posted 16 Jan.

I got the same error when trying to redeem from my disabled account

Wanted to redeem with Macy's. It was available on Friday (but I still needed some more bucks), but not anymore on Saturday. Rather strange.

That is what I was going to say. Might be a disabled account issue. Can do a test trial on redeeming another rewards program, then you can be more sure.

Problem is that only BA is available (BA sponsored account) no other redemptions. Well, we'll see, I guess.

Not necessarily strange. It may have gone out of stock temporarily. This happens with other rewards, anyhow.

It's bad enough we have to deal with those pointless prescreeners, but have people been noticing a reduced rate for surveys in the past few months? It used to be you'd regularly see $4.25 for 15 minutes or similar, now all the time I'm seeing $0.75 for 6 min or $2.25 for 10 mins. Sometimes it's $0.25 for 3 minutes, the same as the disqualification compensation! My earnings have ground to a halt.

Yes, occasionally the rewards are weak, but overall I've been able to generate hundreds of eReward dollars each month. Enough to do 2k monthly in both AS and AA as well as 4400 Hertz GP's each year since those are only redeemable every 90 days.

Completely agree. They snuck in a devaluation in points/minute of survey.

Nice! I'm not generating nearly as much as you, but even so, by putting all of our rewards into BA Avios, my wife and I have now taken 3 domestic US flights completely for free with enough in our accounts to do another 2. And that's before we realized how easily Avios could be used to book AA and other short-haul flights. Before that we were dumping our rewards into either AA or Hilton. Bottom line, we've found E-rewards to be worth the effort overall, despite the frustrations you sometimes encounter.

It is tempting, as 2000 Avios is only $65 eReward dollars. Only one of our accounts lists BA as a reward partner, but maybe 24,000 Avios per year would be better used. Thanks.

pointshogger Jan 30, 2020 8:54 am

Ugh! Can only transfer to Hilton once every 60 days.
