My backlog of rewards started posting last night and this morning they all appear to be there. I knew I had tried a lot of surveys on 3 July (guessed 12) and according to the account 24 posted - along with a few taken since that date.

Me too. They used to post in under 30 minutes. I could cope with a longer wait if it was consistently the same wait each time so I knew when the points would arrive.

shahr04360 Jul 10, 2019 2:16 pm

Exactly 6th-week, I filed inquiry (still no-response). Now, seems posted in my Hilton account. No idea what's happened behind.

supernewfcombo Jul 10, 2019 2:54 pm

My Hilton points posted today. Took almost 6 weeks.

Athena53 Jul 10, 2019 3:16 pm

Mine just posted, too. Maybe they're monitoring this site! Happy to have my reservations made; making my 3rd trip to Chicago with my 5-year old granddaughter and she doesn't want to stay anywhere but the Hilton O'Hare on the side with the airport view!

My 7,000 Hilton points posted today-5 weeks to the day after redemption

beachmouse Jul 10, 2019 3:39 pm

Still waiting on BA Avios from around June 17. Maybe that will be their next batch of redemptions

pointshogger Jul 10, 2019 5:11 pm

Looks like I am also caught up on survey credits.

Also did an IHG transfer on July 3, came through by July 10.

Back on track for the time being!

Obviously a massive batch of Hilton points just came through. +1 for getting them today or yesterday.

bswiz Jul 12, 2019 12:52 pm

Have not been doing E-rewards as often lately, but just had one recently that paid off big! It was a fairly short survey about restaurants and at the end asked if I'd be interested in an in-person focus group, to which I said yes. It actually happened - a consulting group contacted me and I just made $150 cash yesterday for an hour of my time. Funny thing was, there was only one other person in the "group" - she mentioned she didn't even remember how she got picked for it. I said "Oh, I do a lot of online surveys so I think it was from that" and she replied "Yes I do E-rewards, so it must have been that!".

Hilton points

I redeemed for Hilton points on 6/25. They posted yesterday.

CeeGee Jul 15, 2019 11:38 pm

5 weeks and 5 days after claiming (6 June) Avios have finally hit my account.I just hope this is not the new timescale.
But they maybe the ones I claimed on the 10th July, which would be the normal time scale.I will wait two days for the full six weeks and submit a ticket.

CeeGee Jul 19, 2019 2:08 am

Just had this reply from E rewards when I queried non award after six weeks delay
"BAEC recently reported that they encountered technical issues for redemptions that were sent to fulfillment on the month of June. Unfortunately, this redemption is included in that transaction.

We sincerely apologize for the delay. Rest assured we are working directly with BAEC to rectify this issue as soon as possible. We are sorry for the delay."

I get 3-4 emails from erewards daily about surveys but every time I click the link I get the message: "Unfortunately there are no available surveys for you right now. Please try again later." What the heck?

About half the time when this happens to me, I can click on an older email and still get a survey. They don't seem to care about accurate software and message content, sometimes.

CeeGee Jul 23, 2019 2:35 am

It seems that BA have sorted their IT issue,Avios claimed 6th June posted today.Showed a transaction date of yesterday

pointshogger Jul 23, 2019 7:59 pm

This is the error message that I am getting when updating through AwardWallet.

Anyone else getting this too?

I'm in the same situation and was hoping that the FT hive have a solution. It's not as simple as "clicking on an older email".

Something happens on your computer when you take too many surveys - you reach a point where you are simply told 100% of the time that you have no available surveys. It happened on one laptop so I switched to another laptop and immediately could happily continue taking surveys (but only with that laptop and not the original). Now the second laptop has run into the same problem.

I've cleared cookies, tried new browsers, incognito mode, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Maybe they generate some device fingerprint and then block fingerprints they are not happy with for whatever reason.

Exactly same with me.

Shagboy Jul 24, 2019 5:27 pm

I too got the emails telling me there was a survey and then telling me there are no surveys. As of 5 minutes ago I successfully completed a survey. Maybe it is just a matter of time.

Possibly in same batch. Mine redeemed on 7/27, posted on 8/6.

My previous redemption has been double-posted after back-and-forth complaint. Great!

Over looking the obvious?

You're focusing on the device on which you are taking the surveys. I really don't think it's all that complicated. It's not anything on your device that cuts off the surveys, obvious to me that e-rewards has a set limit on the number of surveys that can be taken by any account in one sitting (or some time period), and they simply "cut you off" from further surveys until that period expires. Not a matter of a "fingerprint" left on your device, or a cookie, they are controlling it from your logged in account on their side. When it kicks in, you can click on current or old survey links until you're blue in the face, generally it "ain't goin' happen". And they obviously are not goin' communicate as to what their specific policy is...

I can do surveys perfectly ok from one device, and not at all (no survey available) from another. How can you explain this?

It's pretty obvious that they do both. I've accidentally clicked on links when overseas and then had the site refuse to let me do any other surveys until I cleared their cookies, so that clearly do set cookies on your device that affect future surveys.

Anyone else getting a "Travel and Tourism" study for $4.50 that already has your name and address pre-populated? The first screen asks me to verify it all and to enter my city (not determinable from the Zip Code, which includes two cities).

I considered putting in fake info but figured I might get my account terminated if caught. I am NOT comfortable with providing my name and address even before I know if I qualify for a survey so I closed it down. And yet....they keep trying to send it again, maybe 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Maybe I'm over-reacting given that I've handed over enough bits of my privacy shred by shred, over the last decade for a god AI application to find and describe me.

IamHydro Aug 27, 2019 8:27 pm

I feel like the surveys on this platform get worse every month. I've probably been using e-rewards for 5 years, perhaps as long as ten.

It is very hard to qualify for surveys. Also, it seems that many surveys are on a timer, so even if you thoughtfully answer each question, you get DQ'ed at the very end because you didn't do it slow enough.

Counter-point: I hadn't used Erewards in a while and finally decided to get back into it. I've been able to rack up quite a bit fairly quickly. Not sure if it has anything to do with ignoring it for the past couple months, but no complaints here about survey availability or qualification.

I have had a similar experience. After about a 6-month break, I decided to give e-rewards another try and am racking up about 2,000 points a week with minimal effort.

Do you mean to say that you’re giving actual personal data to erewards because you fear that you might not earn a few dollars worth of points or miles? Of course it’s your own trip, but still...

bswiz Aug 29, 2019 1:31 pm

Well this is new! I just had 2 surveys this morning that I went through completely, and at the end it said I didn't qualify and I only got the 0.25 credit. I emailed E-rewards and already got a response. Apparently I was flagged for "speeding" which means they think I didn't take the survey seriously. I did read every question, but many of these things are so repetitive, you can fly right through them. The response included these screenshots - kinda cool to see what metrics they are recording.

Guess next time I'll take a couple bathroom breaks in between questions to slow myself down :(

No, I actually X-ed out of the survey. They've finally quit showing it to me after I closed it out on multiple occasions.

I wonder how often that's happened to me, too. I'm retired and live alone so when they ask, "Do you or anyone in your household work in any of the following industries.." the answer is "No". I don't even need to read the list. I'm a fast reader in general and, as you said, many of the screening questions are pretty standard. I've been doing pretty well racking up points but will make a conscious effort to slow down when replying to surveys.

KathyWdrf Aug 31, 2019 8:07 am

One easy way to slow down is simply to multi-task. Have other windows (and/or devices) open and be doing other things while taking surveys. If you switch your attention back and forth, that can help set the pace appropriately.

On the other hand, if you are TOO slow, that can disqualify you as well. ;)

Ironic. In the 3 days since I posted this, I have not been able to enter a single survey.

I tell the truth for all surveys except for questions about home security systems.

Yes, on many other accounts as well. Seems to be an AwardWallet thing. Funniest was when this warning popped up saying "this password appears in that database 1 time" and continues with the warning.

Just ignore it.

Thanks for the feedback. I also noticed it on my other accounts too. Just a precaution from AwardWallet I guess.
