I have reached the point where I'm simply not willing to answer qualifying surveys as a condition precedent to getting to surveys that award you credit in return for your responses. It use to be done on an occasional basis, and now it's totally in your face, almost all the time, repetitively. If that's the end of my participation in e-rewards, so be it; it has gotten to such an extreme balance, that it just no longer makes sense (to me).

I get the Pop Rewards surveys to credit for cash or miles on Swagbucks and some of the single redemption sites like Opinion Rewards Club. But the Pop Rewards site is really flaky and seems to only get as far as selecting the tv shows maybe half the time.

E-rewards UK unavailable surveys
Hello everyone
Last year for a few weeks I received daily many surveys, but when i clicked on the link , ALL of them would come up as 0% and a message : Thank you for your interest in taking a survey!Unfortunately there are no available surveys for you right now. Please try again later.recently it started again to have the NO AVAILABLE survey Does anyone know why this happens? cookies? using the same phone to do the surveys I am sure this has happened to others. any feedback would be great . Cheers |
I'm not based in the UK, but frequently I can find a few more surveys by going back and clicking on previous e-mails. Doesn't make any sense, but it works.
ETA: and I may have found a decent alternative to e-Rewards- learned about it in a FaceBook feed. (Yes, Big Brother is alive and well.) So far I've completed enough Surveys to get 1,000 points; they're similar to the e-Rewards ones, many from the same survey companies. There's a delay of couple of weeks while they actually check your responses to see if your answers are credible and until then you can't see the rewards. I'm at that stage, having accumulated over 1,000 points with about 1/3 approved. I was waiting to see what the rewards actually are, and then found this review- basically a variety of $10 gift cards or $10 to PayPal for 1,000 in points, so well worth it. No invitation needed. https://www.surveypolice.com/branded-surveys |
Fake E-Rewards Surveys Lead to "Answer a [LOT OF] questions to find a new survey"
E-Rewards' emails claim to take survey, some range at a disgusting level of $0.25 for 5 Minutes, some better (should be $30.00 for 10 minutes like they were), but when ever we get these emails lately, once you go in, we're getting this BS: Answer a few questions to find a new survey. Well, there are not a few questions, there are A LOT and it's all BS. We had to fill out profiles when we started, so what is this garbage?
These Q's are really NOYBW: None of your Bee's Wax. Just see our profile from years ago, then get back to us. Really fake advertising from E-Rewards, annoying....no wait, it's AI, yeah that's it. Robo-hell. |

Is anyone getting just a blank screen after the screening questions?
|
Yes, I had survey mail that only goes to a blank page.
To be honest I don't expect much from e-rewards anymore |

Just answer none of the above for every single one. I haven't seen any reduction in offered surveys from doing that.
I waited to post this because I had ALMOST $100 in my account but now that I got it to $101 and redeemed $100 for AA miles I won't worry about putting a jinx on myself by posting this. I'm racking up enough e-Reward points to get $100/month so. I alternate between Hilton points and AA miles, both of which I can use. I also hit up Starbucks for a $50 gift card ($145 in e-Rewards funny money) every 6 months if I can. Like everyone else here, I get my fair share of surveys that steal a lot of opinions/information before kicking you out. I've also cheerfully and honestly disqualified myself from surveys looking for people with specific health conditions, who are planning on buying a current model year car, who are passionate about beauty products, who smoke, etc. I'm not sure why I'm not seeing the fall-off in decent surveys that many are. Maybe it's because I'm retired, so I have the time to complete a decent number of surveys. As noted earlier, I also go back and click on old e-mails and get directed to surveys even when the "Find a Survey" button is greyed out. Finally, I typically qualify for two types that seem to be very popular: financial services and social/political issues (for the latter they ask questions which indicate extent of community involvement and about whether you voted recently). So, it's still not a bad deal for some of us "special snowflakes". I'll enjoy it while I can. |
Anybody ever encountered "Internal error" message in red on the redemption page in your account? Won't allow me to redeem...

This clearly isn't harvesting more data, it's just pure incompetence and time-wasting. |

The 3 accounts at home have been getting this message for the last 6-7 weeks, even right after receiving an invitation. I guess we'll unsubscribe completely one of these days...

I was really hoping to get ~$4 to redeem for Hertz, but maybe I will just redeem what I can somewhere and delete my account. Really wish it were otherwise, since it wasn't that long ago that I could reliably count on e-rewards for a couple of thousand Hertz points per year. I thought about a BBB complaint, but suspect it would make no difference. |
A couple of updates: I tried just responding "None" to the "Answer these questions to find a new survey" pages (although some required some sort of answer). The supply of surveys seemed to slow down and then I got an e-mail from e-Rewards on "How to Unlock More Surveys". The answer: provide information on those pages that don't give you any points. Bah. Have started answering them and I'm getting a few more.
Don't bother with anything on vaccines. Twice I took surveys on that subject, provided a good amount of thoughtful input to their questions (my attitudes, what persuades me/dissuades me in deciding which to get) and then got kicked out. E-Rewards really needs a "Report this Survey" button when you get kicked out with pity points. Even if they didn't check every complaint they could look for the surveys that get a lot of them. |

It has now been months since I actually got a survey instead of the above message, even when I click on the link within seconds of the email arriving.

Another bad survey alert: 67% into a long survey with ads from Fidelity, the survey stopped loading. It's just a page with the progress bar showing the percentage completed but the rest doesn't load. I should have known better, it's an SSI survey. If you qualify for this one, don't waste your time on it.

New feature...
Surveys On Demand
Hi XXXXXXX Ready to earn even more with e-Rewards? We’ve upgraded your profile, so you now have unlimited access to surveys. In the past, you were limited to checking for surveys once a day. Now, you can see what's available whenever you like. No more waiting for invites! Simply log in and click “Find A Survey” to view all your studies. Give it a try and earn your next reward in no time. |
I got that yesterday, too. Doesn't make a big difference for me; I can typically turn up more surveys by clicking on old "You Have a Survey" e-mails.
Glad to have more surveys, though. My Hilton point balance is looking a little lean and my 5-year old granddaughter doesn't want to stay anywhere else in Chicago but the ORD Hilton where she can see the action at the airport across the street. |
Interesting if this allows you to complete more than 3 surveys per day...

Got that too...does seem to work, meaning that you can just go from the home page for "find a survey" rather than the minor inconvenience of using old e-mails. As noted, though, doesn't make any real difference in the end.
|
I've never had a limit on my account, and the "Find a Survey" button has been on my home page from the beginning.

FWIW, I don't think I had a limit, either (or at least it was higher than 3, as I've done more at a sitting). Anyway, a lot of people apparently have different configurations or limits, accounting for different experiences with the site. FTF |
I got the notice email, too, so they probably sent it to everyone. My button usually is "lit" after taking surveys from emails, as well as when I go directly to the home page. Interesting that they don't treat everyone's account the same.
|
Wonder if it has anything to do with when different people signed up? Just idle speculation, of course.
|
Be aware if you get a long survey asking about wireless phones. A good ten minutes into the survey today and I get this message:
Proxy ErrorThe proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request POST /survey/selfserve/53b/1812786. Reason: Error reading from remote server I tried doing the backarrow and refreshing page with no luck. No happy I wasted that much time. I received a similar error a few days ago also ten minutes into a long survey. I'm ready to stop taking surveys over a few minutes long. |

2 UK accounts (mine and wife's) - both stopped getting points awarded from 19th June onwards :(
|
I’m missing points from the 20th but have some things from the 21st appearing correctly. Their underlying survey router has been a little flaky on other platforms recently too |
UK account no points awarded since the 19th June also and Air miles(Avios) Reward seems to be taking a long time to post, almost 3 weeks.

In a way thank goodness others are having this issue,I thought it was just me.(No reply yet to ticket lodged on the 20th)

Same here. Nothing at all posted since then, including partial credits for screened-out surveys. I’ve logged a ticket, the reply to which was “we can see you completed the surveys. Wait 72 hours”

Also happening for me in the U.K. Something similar happened about two months ago and after about five days it started working again and all the missing points were posted. I havent bothered doing a ticket yet, was planning to see if it works itself out |
A couple of changes I've noticed in the last few days:
1. After completing a survey, instead of going to the "rate the survey' screen they've had forever, it just brings up a screen and says you've been credited (and luckily, so far I have indeed still been getting credited). The flow isn't as good, because of taking you to a new survey, you have to get back on your own to the home page and look for a colored button again, or go back to e-mail 2. And possibly related, after a short time in which the button was reliable, I'm seeing that sometimes you have live surveys on e-mails even with a greyed-out button. That fix didn't last long. FTF |
