Does anybody know if there are any partners offering registration at the moment? I stopped using e-rewards about a year ago and my account was closed due to inactivity. I tried e-mailing them, but I was told that my account info was deleted.

I believe the answer at present is No. The only was I think is if you get invited via one of the partners that they use for poihts so best to join all partners in the hope of an invite.

Thanks, I'll e-mail some of their partners to see what happens.

Personally I don't think e-mailing any of the partners will generate a link to join up. I think invites are generated by erewards to their partners when they have availability or want to promote themselves to new customers. I think your best chance would be join up with all partners and just wait and hope for an invite from one of them.

Just discovered looking at my points balance that attempting an SSI survey when adding my DOB in and I'm always failed immediately gets the 25 pts. 😃

Maybe not, but I sent an e-mail anyway. I'll see how it goes.

Another account shut down today without any warning! 😠

Yes, also here: my account and wifey's account... both only accounts with e-rewards, luckily only one had 5300 points, other only 1800... but I think that I have enough of this .... from e-rewards. For the last 2 months almost no good surveys, more and more SSI survey that did not work, etc... F*** such shady company.

And you were right. I received a response saying basically, we know nothing about invites, here's their contact info.

Has anyone else been receiving almost no surveys on the UK site for the past 2 weeks? One a day or less. Of the few I get, they're almost all SSI ones now too that give me an error when I try to do them.

The company really seems to be going to the dogs lately. Its a shame, it was a great way of earning some miles on the side for years.

Thats been happening to me for about two months now, I'm about to cash out on two accounts then I'm giving them a miss. Been a good 3-4 years of point collecting / vouchers but like they say, "everything comes to an end"..

jddbz Mar 8, 2019 6:23 am

That seems to be a reasonable decision. Its barely worth logging in these days.

They must be hemorrhaging users, based on reports here and elsewhere. I can't help but wonder what their business strategy is.

Maybe they have finally introduced account tracking via IP address, in fairness im still running more than two accounts but over the last year lost six accounts in their culls.

Counsellor Mar 11, 2019 8:38 am

I haven't received an actual survey in weeks!

Lots of "invitations" (about two a day) saying to click on for a survey, but when you click there's no survey, just more irrelevant personal questions. They don't even bother adding the lie that the survey has closed. In those cases of false inducement, I just close the window.

Must be under new management, maybe simply trying to mine your personal data to sell.

Athena53 Mar 13, 2019 5:50 am

Really getting annoyed with the 25-cent surveys (25 cents if you complete it, 25 cents in pity points). I started on one last night - the subject was the pneumonococcal pneumonia vaccine- and after going through the initial screening questions it went into several questions on what statements would be more effective in persuading me to be immunized. When I then got to the third of TWELVE screens asking me to choose the most effective and least effective among a group of statements, I shut the browser down.

I realize that I lost 25 cents and that they still got some actionable information, but I plan to close out of more of these when they ask too much. Another I did complete asked for text responses on a video commercial. Pretty sad that e-Rewards allows its clients to do this. I'm hoping that partially-completed surveys with early exits when the "reward" is the same as the pity points might send a message.

It seems that none of the awards for the ssi surveys are posting now, or is it just me? The posting was usually delayed by a few minutes to an hour, but I now have partial and full credits from yesterday that are still missing... Anyone else experiencing this problem? This problem doesn’t seem to affect the old style surveys, which usually post immediately. But those are rather scarce these days...

Yes, same here with my sons account. He has completed some 3-4 this morning, nothing posted.

same here, but there have been delays of a day or two before

true that. An excellent opportunity to take the weekend off and see what happens by Monday...

Ditto here. I just need a few more dollars to get to $35 and transfer to Hertz points. Then I'm done with them until/unless there are reports that they've stopped this bait-and-switch data mining.

Not much, apparently. Points still not posting.

honu Mar 17, 2019 7:39 pm

Well, I tried to see if things got fixed over the weekend. I had a few partial credits post on 3/15, probably less than a third of the ssi surveys I did, and all the older style ones - 3 in all, I think. No credit, partial or full, for any of the ssi surveys attempted or completed on 3/14, 3/16, 3/17. Delays in mileage posting, no credit for surveys... I wonder if e-Rewards is disappearing and these are the last sputters of a dying business...

Their parent company sent me an invitation to a Hilton surveys-for-points platform on Friday and I still get pretty regular surveys on their Flying Blue site as well as the SSI surveys showing up and crediting properly on Swagbucks and MyPoints.

So I'd be inclined to say e-Rewards site-specific IT issues rather than problems with the company as a whole.

That would indeed point to a problem with e-rewards, as it’s exactly the SSI surveys that aren’t posting on their website. I hope it isn’t indicative of e-rewards going out of business...

How long are we waiting for Hilton redemptions to credit these days? I made redemptions neatly three weeks ago.

IamHydro Mar 18, 2019 11:10 am

Include me in the list of folks who are having problems with e-rewards. I am unable to launch surveys and I am not getting credit for surveys where I don't qualify.

As I posted above, my last one took five days.

Are you not getting credit just for SSI surveys or for any of them? I’m missing credit, full and partial, for all SSI surveys starting on 3/14 (although I did receive partial credit for a few, but not all, SSI surveys on 3/15 only). The credits for the older style surveys (“research now”) were still posting for me, but they’re pretty rare these days. Ha! I just got one and the credit isn’t posting immediately for those either now! Nice...

I think they tried to do a catch-up of the unposted stuff from this weekend because I suddenly have $17 more in my account than when I looked this morning

Yup, it looks like something posted from the past weekend, but I don’t think it’s all of it, and nothing seems to be posting in real time anymore... disappointing.

Just to add a data point

Redeemed hilton points on Mar 12, deposited on the 22nd. Faster than the estimated 8 weeks noted on the site.

Points credited on 2 x accounts today also, over 3 x weeks wait.

Did anyone else have their e-rewards account cancelled this week? I lost $450 in accumulated rewards when they shut down my account with no warning. They won't respond to my inquiries either. Is there anything I can do to get my rewards back or my account reactivated?

Its not beneficial to have such high sums on your e-rewards account. You should be persistent and have all personal data at hand when they reply, and they will eventually.

Last week one account closed down. Appealed, week later reinstated but they didn't lift the block so had to mail again and finally back up and running. Keep mailing them until they reply.

If any of you get a survey and it starts showing ads for Dolce and Gabbana hit the X key. It said it would take my 15 minutes to complete and took over an hour (it was on the 83% status for at least 15 minutes of questions) and then I received the message they already received enough pariticipants in my group and I was only getting partial credit. It's bad enough I spent a good hour on a survey they said would only take 15 minutes but then to get only partial credit really pisses me off

Received reply that both accounts closed for good, as we were "not attentive and accurate enough"... what bull**** reason to cut us after 3 years with e-rewards. Well, fun need to end sometime, it seems.

Contact e-Rewards about this one. I don't do it often, but when I encounter a survey that collects that much info (e.g. text answers, watching videos and responding, interminable pages of checkboxes or "drag and drop", etc.) I contact Customer Service and they've been good about crediting me with the points. They need to know which of their survey providers aren't playing by the rules.

Counsellor Apr 12, 2019 12:09 pm

WARNING: Some SSI survey "invitations" read something like this:

You have an opportunity waiting!

Topic:Entertainment
Incentive:in e-Rewards® Currency
Length:5 minutes
You'll notice there is no incentive amount mentioned, nor is there a "participation" amount offered for trying but being disqualified. It does not appear this is an oversight!

The survey is called a "PopRewards" survey and (after the qualification questions) asks a lot of questions about your recent TV viewing, including what went on in the programs and the commercials (takes much more than 5 minutes, by the way). After the survey is over and you're congratulated for successfully completing the survey, there is nothing added to your total -- even days later. There is apparently no reward for taking the survey! (Well, they didn't promise any, did they?)
