It's just another grab for information. It's one of the reasons I keep a landline as the equivalent of a spamcatcher e-mail address.

Well, you can fool them with a proxy server and pretend you are in a specific country (just like your example with HK, but deliberate). You can even use a site that receives SMS for free (if nobody has used it before, as the celular number must be unique).

Hertz

I've redeemed Hertz rewards "a zillion times" over the years. I've submitted twice for Hertz rewards recently, and each time after about a week, my e-reward points are returned to my account with the notation that the redemption "failed". Nothing has changed re my Hertz account, recently, versus over the years. I'm using the same Hertz number, same address, same name.

Anyone else experience similar re Hertz, recently?

Tried the free SMS thing and it didn't work.

No longer getting surveys

Hi All! I’m new to the forum but have been doing e-rewards surveys for awhile now. I go in spurts but recently have had a ton of downtime and were traveling soon so I ramped up the amount of surveys I take. Not sure if that triggered something, but I haven’t received any surveys in over a week now. I’ve checked email and logged into the website.

Anyone else experienced this recently or just me?

My husband also decided he’d do surveys so I signed him up a few days ago and he hasn’t received anything either.

Nope, just did one last week for 1100 Gold Points, and all I had to do is enter the code that was texted to my US cell number. Points posted within 72 hours. You might need to email them.

Maybe it's not worth it for many people, but Ultra Mobile (T-Mobile's prepaid service) has a deal that is a low as $10 per month prepaid for 12 months, that provides, in addition to unltd calls, text and substantial 4G data in the US, text and data overseas at no cost, and even some free calls to a variety of countries. If you're traveling to the US and need a local cell provider, they're the best and lowest cost, with the overseas features. At $10 per month, and great functionality, it's easy to justify, as so may service providers I use require text confirmation frequently, CC's, banks, etc. in addition to eRewards.

vvn1972 Feb 15, 2020 6:58 am

No more phone confirmations. Check your accounts.

sosafan Feb 16, 2020 9:43 am

null

Does anyone have any idea why many of the survey messages say "null" at the top?

WilcoRoger Feb 18, 2020 11:30 am

"quality" surveys by "quality" coders

Can you provide a link to that?
From googling, I found this website which does not seem to be the same what you talk about.

https://www.ultramobile.com/plans/

It does not seem being own by T-Mobile, but rather use T-Mobile network for its SIM cards.

Seems to be prepaid SIM cards sold at many retail outlets.

beachmouse Feb 19, 2020 3:03 pm

Any other data points on how long it's been taking Alaska miles to post? I've been waiting since January 25, and that seems longer than usual.

Looks like the promo I signed up for last month expired, so it's now $14 per month for the lowest. I paid $144 for a 12 month 3GB plan ( $10 per month plus the taxes and fees included.) You do need to make a minimum deposit (like $5) for the overseas roam charges if you get calls from or make calls to the US.
According to the internet machine, Ultra is a T-Mobile MVNO, which rolled up an number of prepaid service providers they had into Ultra.

Mine posted immediately last week.

Anybody else having trouble accessing surveys the last few days? It seems that no matter which survey I click to start, it keeps bringing me back to the same page saying "Thank you for accepting our invitation to participate in this e-Rewards earning opportunity. We apologize, but this opportunity has expired," with an opportunity to then start another survey. But if you click on that, it just continues the loop with the same survey showing up each time.

I was having this issue last night. Seems resolved today, at least for me.

WilcoRoger Feb 20, 2020 12:33 pm

Same issue.

This has happened to me before, but usually resolves itself when the problem survey expires. Or you can click on older emails and probably will not hit that particular survey.

I had the same problem with two different surveys from the same survey company. Tried everything to get rid of the problem surveys with no luck. Then tried accessing e-rewards on my ipad, and it seems that the problem surveys were not optimized for tablets, so they got kicked out and I was able to move on to other surveys in the queue. :tu:

Redeem & Get Surveys?

Well, this is interesting. Up until around December I was completing surveys & redeeming regularly. Since then, all I was getting was those pesky "answer a few questions to find a new survey". I had $60 so decided just to redeem & walk away from erewards altogether.

Out of curiosity last week, I checked my account and found a bunch of surveys which I completed😁

So, since redeeming, I've had numerous surveys and it appears I'm back to being able to rack up erewards.

Anyone else found this?

Chancellor Todd Feb 26, 2020 11:35 am

When clicking on a well-paying survey from my dashboard, I'm also getting a lot of "Thank you for your interest in this study. Unfortunately, this study has received the number of responses required from your particular survey group." Then after I complete a survey or two, it will eventually give me access to the original survey I wanted, which magically now needs responses from my particular survey group, I guess.

beachmouse Feb 26, 2020 5:49 pm

while I'm still waiting for my 1/25 Alaska miles, my ones for 2/26 posted instantly.

SkiPA Feb 26, 2020 7:04 pm

Can’t redeem and not getting any surveys either

After years of surveys perhaps erewards is cutting me off? It’s been almost a month without an email and no surveys when I log in. Hard to believe something triggered my profile to not get at least a few surveys.

I tried to cash out the $ I have but keep getting an error each time I try to redeem. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

neuromancer Feb 27, 2020 12:40 am

Well, it seems your account has been blocked

WilcoRoger Feb 28, 2020 1:03 am

Contact them and they'll either unblock the account or just say you're blocked/banned. Has happened either way.

OKImready Mar 4, 2020 6:30 am

I am having the same problem as in December.... I redeem for Southwest Rapid Reward Points.... and after 8 days they still have not posted to my Southwest Rapid Rewards account...

jamesteroh Mar 4, 2020 6:04 pm

Is the Hilton redemption problem fixed or is still taking months for the points to post?

Uptown_Girl Mar 7, 2020 7:59 pm

I redeemed Hilton points on February 21 and they were deposited on February 25.

linsj Mar 8, 2020 8:27 am

I redeemed Hilton on February 25, posted on March 5. So the wait is getting shorter.

ChinaShrek Mar 9, 2020 4:16 pm

I redeemed for Hilton on March 2 and the points were in my account today (March 9). Not bad.

RobtheAggie Mar 12, 2020 6:52 am

I was just told that I had "Reached your temporary redemption limit for this reward. Please select a different reward, or try again later." This was with SWA. I get 2k points per month.

Since they allow one redemption each 30 days, as February had 29 days you need to wait one more day, same thing happened to me.

honu Mar 13, 2020 11:47 am

Are AS redemptions broken? I’ve been trying to redeem 2K in my AS account, but e-rewards will not accept my MP number. I’ve redeemed before, last time just over 30 days ago, and it doesn’t give me the temporary redemption limit error. It simply insists that the MP number is incorrect. But it’s not! Anyone else with this experience?

beachmouse Mar 13, 2020 10:12 pm

I've also had some odd fussiness about copying and pasting a FF number from my AS account- it'll take a few tries and I have to make sure I haven't accidentally copied over a space at the beginning or end of the number but eventually it does get entered correctly and go through. Or try entering the number manually one digit at a time?

I’ve tried both systems over 2 days but no joy. I ended up redeeming for something else.

craz Mar 18, 2020 1:30 pm

"You reached your daily limit for redemptions"?

Cashed out 2 different awards last night (before 12am), went for a 3rd and got that message. OK so I just tried again and got the same message, so are we limited to 2 redemptions in any given 24 hours? Didnt even know there was a limit

bj2757 Mar 19, 2020 7:49 am

The last three days whenever I receive an email saying I have a survey and click on it, I get the "sorry there is a problem" page in 15 different languages - every survey, every time. Anyone else having this issue?

Same here. But there are plenty of surveys on the site's home page.
