I'm still irked by the surveys that ask 100 questions before telling you you didn't qualify. But last week I reported a broken survey, got an email telling me I would hear back in 5 days and guess what? I did. I'm still disappointed as it was about a product I would like to know more about and that I would like the manufacturer to know more of my opinion than I was able to express.

Dear Bama Vol,

I apologize for the errors that have occurred in the survey and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have forward this to the project manager so that they are aware of the issue. I can assure you that your account was credited with the full amount.

If you have any further issues, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Member Services Team at: www.e-rewards.com/contactus.do.

Sincerely,

Beth

After website refurbishment I am noticing that points don't post at all, when you complete (in whole or just partly) any survey from surveymyopinion.com... surveys from erewards are working and posting ok...

Same here

I just sent them an email about surveys I had done recently. Its good to see others having the same issues.

The look and feel of the new site is an improvement. But it is still beta in terms of polish. Not everything is working. For example, on the old site, you could only look at 60 days of account history. I was hoping the new site had changed that. But not only is it not changed, but if you select a date range greater than 60 days, there is no error message. You just get ... nothing.

Has anybody noticed that since around the time erewards was purchased or what have you that survey $ takes days to post?

I'm now waiting on 5 surveys (successfully completed)- to post to my account... How annoying that is... Especially that I'm at $89 and am waiting to cash out for AS miles. Ugh

thelostshark May 5, 2015 6:02 am

I've had several surveys not post. I sure hope they're posting a few days late, altho I haven't checked. tls

Mary2e May 5, 2015 6:30 am

Take a look at your account statement. They've probably posted there though it's not showing in your total on the home page.

So what about the $? We wait?

Mary2e May 5, 2015 8:11 am

I found the total on my account statement different than what shows on the home page.

Mauibaby2008 May 5, 2015 8:12 am

My account statement says I've earned / completed 0 surveys in May...

Annoying ...

Apart from earning 35 points from 2 quick surveys/updates.

I have done 4-5 surveys since the 1st of May and both on the main page and on the statement they have not showed up. Also since the 1st of May there have been no new surveys to do.

I have not received any surveys through the normal way (by email), but I have done about 5 through the App.

The app is usually only 25 cents a survey.

When was the last time you used it? They are full value now.

It has been a while because I was dissatisfied. Thanks for the update. Worth trying again now that they are full value.

Supposedly they are. They owe me about $15!

$3 posted to my account this morning...

Whatever.

mirror74 May 6, 2015 9:35 am

Answer from e-rewards team concerning issues we have lately with (no) posting of points...

Q: I completed a survey but my balance did not change.

A: Most surveys are credited automatically but some can take up to 7-10 working days or longer for follow-up surveys. Longer term and more in depth studies do have longer crediting cycles while they are processed.

However we have experienced a technical issue which has prevented some credits from appearing. Our team is working to make sure all these are credited to your account in the next few days. Please accept our apologies for any delay.

Has anyone notice that since April 30 the erewards $ offered for a survey seems to have declined?

beachmouse May 6, 2015 12:38 pm

The $10 I was missing from two surveys last week seems to have just shown up in my account.

Same for me. tls

BamaVol May 8, 2015 11:18 am

I had some $ post on May 2, 4 & 6. But I had a mega-survey on the 7th that didn't post promptly. I think it was worth $10.50.

Problems with e-rewards new upgraded site ?

Is anyone else finding problems with redeeming Alaska Airlines miles in the "Reward Center" ? I have subscribed to erewards opinion center for years, and never had any problems redeeming rewards dollars for Alaska Airlines miles. But now, when I open the rewards center, then select travel and lodging, Alaska Airlines is not shown....any thoughts/feedback/suggestions ??

tris06 May 11, 2015 12:28 pm

no new surveys this month so far

Apart from surveys which seemed to already be available before the end of April I have yet to get a new survey to do. I am only getting quick surveys. Wonder if its my side which is the problem.

Search by company. When I went to redeem for JetBlue, it didn't show up under Travel and Lodging either.

Survey money seems to be posting (almost) instantly again.

Now if only the miles posted that easily;)

What's the current best redemption for travel points?

sosafan May 27, 2015 1:20 pm

ERI test

Anyone know what this message from E-rewards means?
ERI test
"Default Text Body"

I'd say whichever air program you value the most, although Southwest appears to be a poor value unless you use them for short hops - even then the dollar value of a mile is lower than most other airlines. I continue to redeem for United and Hilton.

If you go by the average value of points on Hotel Hustle, then Accor is by far the best for hotels. If you can get double the average value out of one of the others (Hilton, IHG, Carlson), then they can be better for you.
If you value all air miles about the same, then BA Avios is best, as you get 42% more of them than AA/AS/UA.

Crazy how much my use of erewards has changed. Last year, i 95% of the time took the surveys off the website and maybe 5% off the app, now I take 95% of the surveys from the app and barely login to the main website;)

Tip: if you click "find a survey" on the app and it says no surveys available, try again two or three more times: it almost always finds you another survey even if the first time it does not.

ILovetheReds Jun 2, 2015 9:25 am

Has the Starbuck's redemption period always been every six months? I thought it was only 90 days in the past. I'm trying to redeem for a $50 gift card and it's stating one redemption every six months.

It's getting irritating lately that I have been spending 10 minutes answering questions giving them all kinds of data to get the message that I don't qualify for the survey or that they already have maximum number of participants.

At least with the government surveys I get 500 points every time

What are gov't surveys?

Starbucks has been every 6 months for the last couple of years. Not sure before that. tls

Very questionable results via that website. Starwood is worth 2.4-3 cents per on redemption. Hilton is worth .5 cents per. IHG is worth 1 cent per. Although not on that site Southwest airlines is worth 1.3 cents per. Avios may be lovely if you use for domestic US short haul redemptions. I just redeemed for 5.5 cents per via that method on BA. You'd be hard pressed to beat that redemption unless you redeem for the other majors to top off a biz/first class redemption.

crimsona Jun 8, 2015 1:29 pm

That's because you're selectively picking your redemptions, whereas that data set was talking all hotels into consideration, whether or not it was a good deal.

Hence the min, max, median values. You are only looking at the max end of the scale.

I for one will never redeem a short haul flight living out on the West Coast - rather drive to Portland than fly.

TravelinSperry Jun 10, 2015 12:02 pm

Just an fyi - I redeemed for IHG rewards points and they took 6 calendar days to post. Much better than the confirmation email which stated it would take 4-6 weeks.

jms_uk Jun 10, 2015 4:45 pm

Has anyone redeemed recently to Club Carlson? Just wondering how long does it really take for the transfer.

neuromancer Jun 11, 2015 4:01 pm

Most of the programs post once a week, only BA is twice per month. I guess Club Carlson is once per week too, so it will take a week at most.

Thx!

I can actually answer myself now - it took 5 days [as opposed to advertised 2-4 weeks when redeemed].
