I accessed my account for the first time in two years about two weeks ago. I updated my profile to get as many surveys as possible and have received none. Should I redeem my money and start a new account? I'm getting sick of e-miles screwing me out of crediting me for completed surveys.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do. Still no luck receiving new surveys. Thanks |
they spammed me during Christmas, 10 surveys mostly about shopping patterns.
But before Christmas I got nothing |

Before doing that.. I'd search for E-rewards in your email and click on old survey links. I've done more than 20 surveys via that method over the last 2 weeks, but only received a handful of email invitation or having surveys show up on my home page. I almost wonder if something is wrong with their system to notify people of new surveys.

My biggest reward just posted... $200. Woohoo! I participated in an IT discussion group where I was required to answer 8-12 very specific technology association and conference questions each day for 5 days.
I finished the project last Friday, the $200 posted today! ^ |
Problem for new account..... No survey

It's 1 January, 2016, and e-Rewards still says "IHG Rewards Club Points earned through e-Rewards count towards Elite Tier status."
Time to do some cashing out for the year. |

Time to do some cashing out for the year. I've been trying since January 1sr and I keep getting an internal server error. |
I cashed out $200 for 8,000 points on January 1 with no issue on e-Rewards' end and am now waiting for them to post to my IHG account. For some reason, the only browser that doesn't give me password problems on cash out is Firefox so maybe clear cookies and such and try a different browser?

I can verify that my IHG points from a January 1 redemption posted as elite-qualifying.
|
FYI, just like IHG, e-reward transfers to Accor Hotels contribute towards elite status.

Has anyone gotten any survey invites in the last week?
|
In the last week, my family (total 5 people; each with their own account) have received several (4-6) surveys each.
|
I've gotten a number of small ones on the mobile app and one e-mail one.

Today, I recieved an email from erewards, and they credited me my missing $7.50 from when their servers were down. Took long enough but they followed up, even after the generic email I was originally sent telling me to read the FAQ.
|
Here is what I think is a little odd. I downloaded the mobile app and had 3 surveys that didn't show up on the laptop.

Any thoughts on why they only show up via the app? Also - the E-rewards home page doesn't really seem to show potential open surveys (they show up on the app or if I click through older surveys I can get a new survey). Maybe it is just a technology issue.... I can't imagine that E-rewards prefers we take the survey on the app. Thoughts?

I get probably 90% of my surveys via the app. Emails & the site essentially are just a little cherry on top for me :)

Sorry if this is a silly question, but if I sign up for the mobile app on my ipad, will it automatically link to my desktop account?
|
Yes, if you use the same log-on and password. tls

I do find it odd how I can get plenty of survey invites for a month or so, then complete silence for the next month.

I've been getting a couple of surveys a week, but sometimes kicked out after a few minutes of questions. Oh well, 25 cents for a minute or two of my time still adds up over time so why not. Often too if I don't respond quickly enough to the original survey email there's sometimes another one available.

The original poster might like to try Blue Stacks, software you can install on your desktop to run apps. |

I've seen a lot of people on here have gotten a lot of surveys via the app. However, when I downloaded it, I never got any surveys offered to me that way. I'm wondering if I did something wrong in setting it up or putting in my settings- any thoughts or similar experiences?

I use it to earn Avios. 1000 extra a month are always handy!
Wondering if I should keep redeeming for Avios or cut my losses. I currently have 5000 Avios, so I would need minimum of another 10 months to get enough for a round trip domestic flight. And that's assuming I can get $35 in E-rewards per month. |

Though note that Rewards for Thoughts was UK-only last time I looked. Which is too bad because it would have been more useful for me than the other airline miles for surveys programs that are sub-programs of Opinion Outpost. (United, Jet Blue, and Spirit are the US programs currently available)

There seems to be 4 ways to get surveys.
1. Email from E-rewrads. I just got one after nothing for 2 weeks. I think they don't like to send out lots of emails as there is a cost per email. 2. On the home page (I rarely see these) 3. Click on an old email link that was already used. This search for a new one - sometimes. Interestingly, these surveys don't appear on the home page. 4. Through the App - which has surveys that don't appear in email or on the home page for me. Hard to know why E-rewards does it like this. I wonder if it is to keep costs down and get a wider spectrum of respondents (compared to the same 1,000 people always doing all the surveys they would be potentially eligible for) |
