Per the posted terms & conditions, yes on the IHG points. My most recent redemption transferred as elite-qualifying on June 28.
Thx |

Thx |
It's ok, just change the account name to match, as with any redemption.

I take it on either side then you can change your name as many times as you like without causing any issues? |
Just update e-rewards.
Changing IHG or other points' names are a huge hassle. My wife still hasn't been able to update her Marriott membership name correctly and we've been married for a year.

I have not got any points for recent surveys so I wonder if it is a glitch or have they banned me or what.
As a security, redeemed everything just in case and not doing any new reviews... |

I have a feeling they are overwhelmed and have no desire to expand their employee base. There are a LOT of political surveys right now. After November, I would like to think it will be back to normal.
They owe me $37 and change right now. But I am still getting ~$7 a day from it right now, so I have no real issue with them not crediting $37 in 10 months. |
I cashed out for IHG Rewards points on Monday afternoon and they posted this morning. ^

I am not sure if I am flagged for some reason or whether E-Rewards is having issues as a business. I have been a member for years now and have never had any issues redeeming and such for the most part. So for now it is a mystery - I was going to email customer service but have decided to hold off on that for now to see if the problem resolves itself. In the meantime I will and redeem everything that I can. |

My complaint - I'm having the same problem again with the Hertz redemptions. I'm in for another battle...but I will prevail in the end.

About the "correct country" issue..
I've emailed eRewards about this issue (some companies consider Puerto Rico a "foreign country" and some don't) a few months ago and nowadays every time that issue occurs I just have to RELOAD THE PAGE and the survey will appear (wonder if it could be a solution for other FT members with this issue...). ;) |

I wrote them about wrong country issue, and this is the reply I got:
Recently you have contacted us regarding the decreased frequency of survey invitations that you receive. We have reviewed your past participation in the e-Rewards program and have determined that your particular demographic and consumer profile may not be in high demand for our clients at this time. As e-Rewards serves a vast array of clients in a myriad of industry verticals, it is not unusual to have market research needs change abruptly and frequently. Thanks, Beth Member Services |
Has anyone else experienced being directed after a survey failure to complete your profile survey questions again recently? I know i completed these sections when i joined but now im being asked to complete all sections again.
Do they do this exercise on a regular basis to keep their records up to date. Im just seeing after completing this exercise that my survey invitations have dropped dramatically the last few days. |
I've gotten the profile questions refresh lately too. It's not uncommon for all survey panels to ask you to redo your profile every year.

Thanks, Beth Member Services I have been getting this error too, I emailed them and got the same response. I replied and said it has nothing to do with my demographic and that I am getting an error and sent them a screenshot. I have done this twice now and they never respond to the 2nd email. I also sent an email starting a new case with the screenshots, and they have yet to respond. |
It's been well over a year since I've gotten any survey requests. I use to get them all the time and redeemed probably at least 50,000 IHG points.
After several inquires I finally got that same crap response about demographic and profile in high demand. |

Thanks, Beth Member Services I am going to speculate that E-Rewards may be winding down or otherwise becoming smaller as a company. My other speculation is that they are removing members that have been around for long periods of time or simply revamping their entire program. As a precaution I redeemed everything that I could quickly. All rewards posted - much slower than usual - but eventually everything posted. |

Nothing resolved for me as of yet - and I don't expect anything to get "fixed". After years of receiving regular invitations and redeeming rewards regularly with few if any issues - suddenly the invitations just stopped cold - just like the other members here.

It may be just that they're limiting the number of invites/completes for more active members. I'm sure survey data of active respondents is likely to look different to data given by less active respondents. Maybe they're just trying to get a balance of respondents.
I'm just fed up of being offered the profilers right now which I get every day. I'm lucky if I get two survey opportunities a day now. In recent months I've consistently had at least double that for points-earning surveys. e-rewards are owned by Research Now, who are a pretty stable and major player in the research industry. |

I redeemed IHG early last week or earlier. Normally IHG posts in a few days for me - maximum. This last redemption took way longer than usual to post - but they posted nonetheless. It took about 7 or 8 days to post. |

Not limiting, I get no invitations at all... and cannot access surveys through the webpage, as I get "wrong country" error... It is their decision to block/erase most active users, of course, but... still very strange...
I know someone (clears throat) that had several accounts and and all functioned normally - plenty of invitations and no issues with many redemption's. Then everything stopped cold. It is a mystery. In addition to slow redemption's currently - certainly males me think something is up with that company. Anyway - is ANYONE getting regular invitations lately? |
I went through a period earlier this year with no e-mail invitations. But that ended a few days ago when I got prompted to update my preferences. After doing that, I have gotten about an e-mail invitation a week. However. even when I was getting no e-mails, I still was able to do surveys by going to the e-rewards site and asking for them, and by using the e-rewards app.
FWIW, I have been a member for years. Always with just one account. I mainly redeem for Hilton points, with occasional airline redemptions to keep lesser-used accounts active. Hilton only lets you redeem quarterly and I have a month to go to when I can again redeem. But I already have about $160. So by the time I can again spend $100 for 7,000 Hhonors points, I will be over two-thirds of the way to getting another 7,000. Hilton redemptions used to be instantaneous. Now they take a few hours, but still nothing to complain about. It used to be that it took me three months to get a $100 in points. Now it sometimes takes half that time. So I am doing better right now with e-rewards than I ever have in the past. I'm sorry that your mileage is varying so much from mine. |
Just go to the website every day around noon EST. Click the orange Find a Survey button near the top.
No need to wait for invitations. In the past 3 months, I have received maybe 10 emails. Which I am usually able to click on multiple times. But I still get a chance to do a survey every day by going to the site. I usually get dq'd from 2 or 3 of them, and then finally get one I can complete for full credit. It is usually a $5+ survey too, plus the 25 cent credits for the ones I was dq'd on. |

Thanks, exactly 7 x days after redeeming the points arrived late morning.
With the latest points posting, I've now got my IHG platinum for another year. Wish that IHG would announce plans for Spire to know if it would be worth it for me to try for that or if I should shift over to Accor since I've got some vague plans to use them on vacation next year, and there can be some good value with their Ibis/Mercure/Novotel options. |
Still no Hertz points.
|
I have not really seen any slow down in surveys. I am still receiving 2-3 email invitations every day (although I don't always qualify for the full survey). I usually redeem for United or AA miles. The United miles post instantly and the AA miles take 3-4 days. I redeemed for Hertz in February and it took two months to post. I am happy with e-rewards.
