IHG Spire with Erewards
 
I was able to just top 75,000 points in my IHG account from Erewards. This grants Spire status and with it the right to claim 25,000 bonus IHG points.

That makes this the best use of Erewards in my opinion. Highest status in the IHG program and 100,000 points (75,000 + 25,000 bonus) for $1,890 in Erewards currency. I averaged a little over $175 in Erewards per month so far this year, so I made enough with time to spare.

From the email:

'Your bonus will be determined by the number of surveys you fully complete by November 30, 2016, with the bonus amount not to exceed $10.00 in e-Rewards Currency. You will receive your bonus by December 16, 2016'

Hm, interesting. My original try last month was successful (simultaneous redemptions to Avios, BA, and IB), but this month I could indeed not get both Avios and BA redemptions. I did not see anything in the T&C about this limitation.

It was most certainly allowed before. Right now I've redemptions to both Avios.com and Iberia and they are taking more tnan a week to post...

Is there a maximum number of United MileagePlus miles you can redeem E-Rewards points for during a calendar year?

Next year, I want to try and accumulate enough E-Rewards currency to get as much as 20,000 MileagePlus miles (which is doable even with the redemption limit of once every 30 days). But is there a maximum limit you can redeem for?

United is one per 30 days as you said, so 2,000 (highest redemption amount for them) x 12 or 24K in a year for e-Rewards. You can pick up a few thousand more through e-miles and MyPoints, and, if you really like surveys, another 150-250 miles a day with Opinion Miles Club.

United is kind of the call girl for US-based frequent flyer programs.

What I really want to know is, is there a rule which limits the amount of miles you can redeem for in a calendar year?
For example:
"The maximum number of MileagePlus miles that can be earned through redemption is 10,000."
Or, could someone with a lot of points redeem for anything up to and including the once-every-30-days frequency maximum of 24,000?

Has anyone else been getting this week 200 pts & 400 pts survey links which when clicked go no where? Had the 200 pts version earlier in the week over all accounts and then a day later went but then returned later in the week as a 400 pts link?

Yes, from what I see. I haven't seen them linked in any way, ever. Sometimes they miscalculate the date the next redemption can be done, as told above, but this is some other error and not due to the same currency. I have an account which can redeem to avios.com only, no BAEC and no Iberia and this has happened with it.

Maybe I redeemed just before the latest go slow redemotion period. Myself and others have waited three weeks for ib/ avios/ baec redemptions earlier this year.

No. I just tried it with BA (cashed out on laptop about two hours ago) to be sure, and it didn't work.

The last couple of days, when I try to take a survey it won't let me, saying that an error occurred because it appears that I'm outside my country. I'm not outside my country; heck, I'm not even outside my house .... Is there a cure for this malady? tls

If you email their tech support, they will fix it. Same thing happened to me last month. Fixed within days of emailing them.

I guess their geo-blocking isn't up to date. If you check what IP address you're using and it's different one to last week, it could be that your ISP started using a new set of IP addresses. While waiting for e-rewards to fix it, if your ISP has multiple IP ranges that it allocates from and you just happen to have an address in one of them that e-rewards doesn't know about, you might be able to make the site happy by dropping your connection in the hope of getting an address from another range.

(Or you can use a proxy or VPN to get around it.)

My AA redemption recently took 6 weeks. Felt like an eternity. I redeem again a few days ago, will see if they take that long again.

I have JUST gotten IHG points thank you very much :D

However, they wouldn't (yet?) appear on my 2017 Year-to-date Summary.

Just sit and wait or are IHG points NOT qualifying anymore??? (apologies, that's my first time with IHG points via e-rewards) :o:o:o

I've got the same issue with IHG right now. Since they're correct on the ledger lines as EQ, I'll just take a screen shot of the ledger, another of the e-Rewards page that says they're supposed to count to elite tier status, and call the missing digits (they're not listed as zero, they're just gone) as something that's slightly wonky because of IHG doing year end IT maitenance. If zeros actually appear in a few days. then I get in contact.

I let my e-Rewards account get up to $575 at one point in December for EQ purposes. If this works as. It should, nice to start the year halfway to platinum.

There was talk on the IHG boards about how end of year has a few accounting blips as the IT department makes sure that stays that closed out in late December are correctly posted for 2016, and I assume the pat few days were just a blip from that.

Only another 55K to go before I re-qualify for Spire.
