I finally heard back after reopening the ticket a week ago. Still nothing from my facebook post. So they're admitting there's a problem...

Please accept my apologies for the issue you have experienced with your Hertz redemption.

This is due to a technical issue which has affected a small number of members.

We are working to get the issue resolved and your points credited.

This should be rectified in the next 7-10 days.

Thank you for your inquiry,
Except 7-10 days is about 8-9 weeks after April 1 :)

Also, this has to be more than a small number of members, given that not all of them are on FT, and several have posted they're also still waiting :)

I try to get $100 a month for AA redemptions. Today was the first day I was eligible to redeem for AA, and I only had $95.65 in the account.

So I went into my email and clicked the link in every email they have ever sent me. Sure enough, now I am at $100.40.

I would suggest everyone do that monthly. I did it last month and ended up getting an additional $15 or so.

Or who is trying to wrangle any number of redemption partners who are all on their own schedules for exchanging money for reward points. United seems quite easy to work with- there are a number of rewards programs where a United redemption is deposited in your miles account in five minutes or less. But I would expect any 'technical problems' with an Accor redemption in August to take their dear sweet time to resolve due to understaffing in the Accor mothership that time of year.

I agree; so far this year I've redeemed E-rewards points for Hilton (twice), Southwest Airlines and Starbucks. All posted within a day or two. Having learned to go to the E-Rewards site and look for surveys instead of just waiting for e-mails, I'm easily getting through a survey every day (not just the 25 cent "thanks-for-playing" credit) and the money for the survey responses typically posts in a couple of days.

The last time I did this, it took about 6 hours for the email to arrive.

Mary2e May 26, 2016 12:22 am

Points showed up in my husbands account today.

I redeemed on April 12 and nothing for me yet.

Redeemed 8000 ER for 3000 IB Avios on Saturday, in my Iberia account on Monday.

Redeemed for BA Avios on 31st March didn't reach account until mid May.

Tilly71 May 31, 2016 1:14 am

Avios redemptions happening overnight now, super fast!

Thanks! It's puzzling why they "hide" so many surveys. Up till a few months ago I just waited for the e-mail. Then I thought I was getting them all by going to the site and clicking on "Find a Survey" and using the iPhone app but this morning I clicked on a saved e-mail after the first two tactics yielded nothing and got a $7.50 survey. The $7.50 has already posted.

Does anyone on here redeem from their partners erewards account into their own hilton account so there would be two different redemptions into one HH account?
If so, how regularly do you redeem into one account as I'm trying to work out if hh see redemptions more regularly than once every three months do they investigate and close accounts.

odin99 Jun 4, 2016 12:20 pm

nm solved on my own

Mine showed up a few days ago, but I noticed that it was not the usual e-Rewards transfer but a "Customer Service Adjustment."

This doesn't bode well for the next redemption.

I would not do that. The rule is one redemption per quarter. But, I don't think you have to concern yourself about all that anyway. I'm thinking at this point, e-rewards may be out of business.

I got the "sorry we have a problem" email and was told that my points would post in 7-10 days. That was 12 days ago. No points. No nothing. I informed them that something was wrong back in the first week of April. I got a cold-shoulder email back stating, "...wait 8 weeks, we do not investigate things like this" (I'm paraphrasing).

So - they basically told the customer to go to he88. Then at the end of 8 weeks, they sent emails out stating the problem would be fixed, and it isn't. And the customer service really sucks. I think this may be the end of e-rewards. I haven't done a survey since the beginning of April.

Hey e-rewards, great way to lose customers!

Tilly71 Jun 4, 2016 1:02 pm

I had a redemption credit to Avios in one day earlier this week, I don't think they are going out of business. A month ago it was taking on average 5 weeks to credit, maybe it's back again as I made another redemption 3 x days ago but nothing as yet.

Shagboy Jun 4, 2016 8:09 pm

I just redeemed for United miles and the miles posted to my account in seconds. Never had a problem and I hope I never do.

beachmouse Jun 5, 2016 10:09 am

Redeemed for IHG points about two weeks back and points posted in about 5 days.

odin99 Jun 5, 2016 10:57 am

are there any limits to transferring to Southwest?

Tilly71 Jun 5, 2016 12:14 pm

Is anyone on here participating in the online diary on daily newspapers? It stated 200 points for completing the diary but then states you will be rewarded £3.50. I have never entered any bank account details so how do they pay you?

I'm doing it. It will be points. Some survey companies give cash values but you will definitely get points.

So, £3.50 is equivalent to 200 points? Think the money is better value on this occasion.

I suspect we'll get more than 200 points. Remember to factor in the extra cash for supplying photos so I assume that will translate into points.

You cannot redeem more often than the limit, even if you use two accounts. When you enter the destination account it checks that someone has redeemed there during the quarter and won't let you.

Thanks, I definitely read on here a little while ago someone using their partners account to credit their account but maybe this was outside of the limits set.
Worth asking! ☺

Tilly71 Jun 6, 2016 12:17 pm

I've noticed in the last three days I'm getting surveys when you have completed them and finished the survey when you should be directed to leave feedback using the star questionaire I'm getting the sorry, we have filled our quota message?

Once a month. I don't know if that means for all redemptions (25-50-100 etc) since I have only tried to do the 100 and got the note saying I didn't wait long enough.

viajero boricua Jun 6, 2016 8:31 pm

I do understand all airline point (now that most FF programs now measure in 'em) redemptions on e-Rewards are 1x ANY VALUE per 30 days.

Actually, ALL products on which e-Rewards limits redemptions are 1x ANY VALUE per the time allowed (30 - 180 days).

beachmouse Jun 6, 2016 8:41 pm

AFAIK, the only unlimited redemption options are Accor and IHG

Tilly71 Jun 11, 2016 11:56 am

A bit of advise that might help you all with surveys. When I manage to get a survey via email link, after completing I have found if you go back to the same survey link and click on this again I have found on many occasions recently that it clicks through to another survey.
Maybe worth a go! 😎

BillyBaloney Jun 11, 2016 11:58 am

Been over 8 weeks and 10 emails and no Hertz points.

Last email said, "points are deposited in your account"

No points.

$%&*%$ this company.

thanks. i'm still new to this and have one more question. Can i transfer to different partners within a month? (e.g., transfer to southwest and then IHG). If not, then we're essentially limited by what we can earn to "$100-125" in reward $ per month.

AFAIK, yes.

viajero boricua Jun 12, 2016 8:38 pm

Actually, if you have enough e-Rewards points and more than one FFP or hospitality program account and somehow you have the option of having different brands as options (in my case it was DL, which I've entered from originally, got out of the program and had then the chance to put points elsewhere in the air + all the hotel chains if I wanted) you can put into several brands (1 acct. x program) in the same month, points permitting.

This company has a plethora of complaints against it for not delivering rewards as promised. One can search this out online (Better Business Bureau) and also file a complaint against them if you feel that you need to. For many of these people, it appears that this was the only way they got their rewards to post.

neuromancer Jun 14, 2016 6:52 am

So, nobody received their Hertz points recently? Wanted to get some, but if it is a problem, I'll redeem for Avios instead.

odin99 Jun 14, 2016 11:52 am

DP: recieved southwest points in about 6 days.

I've never had an issue with redeemed rewards not posting. My issue with them is when the surveys are designed so that you have to answer many questions before screening out. I just had one on paper towels and was pretty far into it when I was disqualified - a waste of time and they mined far more data than they should have for a lousy .25 payout.
