If you click on the app and get no surveys, it's because you're using the old version of the app.

Download the one called e-rewards plus and the surveys will be there.

Like I said, it's cr@p, but I've earned a few dollars from them.

beachmouse Apr 19, 2014 5:23 pm

I don't know if IHG allows unlimited redemptions, but I've done 2x $100 on the same day without problems.

Where do you download it from? I can't find it on the apple store.

Mary2e Apr 20, 2014 8:37 am

The iTunes store. I had to download it again a few days ago.

I tried to transfer to Hilton, 7000k Points, but the System tells me, one can transfer only every 90 Days - is that correct? I thought, it was once every Month?

It's 90 days for me as well but I don't know if that's Hilton specific or based on my signing up thru United

It's 90 days. Been that way for as long as I can remember. Most/many of the airlines, on the other hand, are once per 30 days. tls

I joined this site a few weeks ago and was getting 2-3 surveys every day for a few weeks. Now all the sudden I haven't gotten one in a week. What's going on with this site lately?

It runs hot and cold. It all depends on how your characteristics match up with the demographic needs of the surveys that its customers want it to run.

When you click to redeem a specific reward, a page showing the Terms & Conditions of that particular reward comes up. It clearly states on that page:

"Redemption Limitation

Redemption of this Reward is limited. You may claim one Hilton HHonors® Reward per 90-day period per Hilton HHonors account and/or e-Rewards Member account."

It's always a good idea to read the T&Cs.

Getting Internal Server Error when trying to claim Avios.com.... and that's the only redemption option that account has!

bj2757 May 12, 2014 5:23 pm

Because we are quick to bask E-Rewards I wanted to post a quick kudo to them. Late last week I completed a long ($12.50) survey and the last question asked for my complete home address - which I did not want to give them (I entered my state and zip code previously). Then it said that wasn't acceptable and disqualified me.

I contacted E-Rewards and I received confirmation over the weekend, and an email today saying my account had been credited (and it has been).

I haven't always received satisfaction from them - but I'm very happy about this one - I don't get surveys for that amount very often :-)

Steve in Olympia May 12, 2014 9:08 pm

Don't they already have your home address, for purposes of shipping various rewards to you? Every time I redeem a reward (even if it is an electronic award), they ask me to confirm my shipping address.

E-Rewards does - but not the company that is doing the survey.

Something similar here - saying I have redeemed for Avios in the last redemption period (30 days), and I have not for more than 60 days. Will write to see what's wrong. Looks like they might have changed the 30 days to 90 or something and haven't updated the T&C

crimsona May 13, 2014 3:00 pm

In my case I haven't redeemed since the end of December...

Same problem here... just send an e-mail...

No, no response from e-rewards UK, but I could redeem next award after complaining and waiting some 5, 6 days...

balima Jun 8, 2014 1:22 pm

Is anyone else having problems signing in to their account? I am having problems. When I try my secret question it tells me it's invalid. I try requesting a new password and get no response.

opinion theft

Thanks to walkdmx for raising the issue of 'opinion theft'

"it is considered opinion theft by the ethics associations which these surveyors must belong to. Complaints are vigorously pursuued at the top levels of the companies, and I have had recognition withdrawn for several companies from various associations which then list them as Unethical. So you do have very good options to pursue those who steal from you."

I just completed a survey through E-rewards that linked to (intellisurvey link removed by moderator) that required 35 minutes of my time with a reward of $8.25 in E-reward currency. After completing the entire survey, I received a screen message stating:

"Thank you for your interest in this study. Unfortunately, this study has received the number of responses required from your particular survey group. Your e-Rewards account has been credited the partial credit amount."

I reported it to E-rewards and we'll see what happens.

E-rewards [Master Thread]

^^

I don't think I have ever experienced this with erewards however GlobalTestMarket and OpinionMilesClub are really bad with this, I make sure to send in a complaint every time. I now feel bad for how many times I send in a complaint to GlobalTestMarket... But I shouldn't be the one feeling bad!

neuromancer Jun 18, 2014 5:42 pm

Sometimes they place control questions inside the survey, to make sure you are reading the questions carefully. For example "Please choose 4". If you give a wrong answer, you are disqualified.

That's fine - but not after you complete everything else.

Flyingmama Jun 19, 2014 5:43 am

I am speechless. Just speechless. This morning I received an e-rewards invitation that read:

Topic: Study about Miscellaneous
Full credit amount: $1.50 in e-Rewards Currency when you fully qualify and complete the research survey
Partial credit amount: $0.25 in e-Rewards Currency if you do not fully qualify for the study OR if the predetermined number of participants has been reached
Survey Length: approximately 25 minutes

Are they kidding me? 25 minutes for $1.50????

thelostshark Jun 19, 2014 7:59 am

Agreed, there's no way I would spend 25 minutes for $1.50. Best thing is for no one to do survies with that kind of time/$ ratio, so that e-rewards will take the hint. bb

beachmouse Jun 19, 2014 8:28 am

Those are the kind of surveys I try to screen out of in order to get the partial credit.

It is not uncommon to do that, especially in a long survey and in a long survey to have several questions like that. Some people get lazy during a long survey and/or really don't even care about the survey and are doing it for the compensation and will just click answers without reading the questions. If there is a question that says "For control purposes please click 7" and the person clicks 3 it is obvious they aren't reading the survey.

The companies are paying a lot for those surveys and want the most accurate data possible and if someone is answering control questions wrong, they should be disqualified.

Did you ever get credit?

OMG, this just happened to me, and I'm so angry I want to explode. I received a $47 survey today for 15 minutes (largest $ amount I've ever recevied). After I completed the survey, it said I was done, and that I should hit the "submit" button to get credit. Except that when I did so, it said that they'd already received the number of response from people like me, so I didn't get credit.

And for the record, I read every question carefully and answered them honestly (and there were no control questions). Man, I am steaming.

I contacted e-rewards to let them know what happened, and asked for a $47 credit. We shall see. tls

I've noticed the bolded part showing up on the introductory page of surveys in the past week, and it's obviously a means of weaseling out of paying the survey dollars. It happened to me on a $5 survey, so I didn't bother complaining, but I imagine many people will be inundating E-Rewards with for requests for credit. Hopefully, that will lead to changes.

For now, I'm ignoring the survey requests with that statement.

I get ticked off at that too. I don't mind answering a couple questions, but it really pisses me off when I give them a lot of info and then I get that message or a message saying I didn't qualify.

And I meant to include that the "consolation" amount for not qualifying for the survey was $0.15, less than I've ever seen before. They knew what they were doing, and were so cheap they didn't even want to provide the normal $0.25 (and sometimes more) to non-qualifiers. tls

neuromancer Jun 28, 2014 7:01 am

$47?? I've never, ever received a survey for more than $15, let alone get credit...
