No,the priority club points didn't go away, but with limited redemptions for Priority Club points, I haven't been able to redeem since May.

MCR Continuing
 
I can confirm from good authority that MCR is continuing in 2009. The program is due for a refresh in February, with a new look to the website, and some new categories.

I got 1,500 HI points, and it was just enough to push me over the amount needed for a free night.

Wish I could do more, I drink Coke, and my son drinks Powerade...

Wow. That would be good news. Hope your source is really good. I have 4,000 pts and am just waiting for them to throw something up worth getting. Thanks for the info.

I didn't say the prizes were going to be good. Just that there would be more categories. :D

That's not visible, but there is a 2000 MCR point reward for an SWA $50 gift card -- out of stock already, naturally.

Probably so. I'm sure they can come up with a few more sweepstakes and magazine subscriptions...:rolleyes:

By the way...does anyone know rough odds of winning one of the sweepstakes? If you've ever won one then how many entries did it take? What did you win? Any strategies involved? (Although I can't imagine what they would be). Just curious.

sounds good to me.I also wanted the HH points and Delta miles,but the coke,powerade,MM coupons save me enough money to pay for them.My wife and kids and their friends drink a lot of soda especially in the summer by the poll--I would say that before MCR started we would buy 75%+ pepsi products--now 99%+ coke products,,plus I have my extended family and friends save the codes for me--so i would say the MCR's is a win win situation
